All worked fine. Typical odd smell in the hallway of an older older property that used to allow smoking.

After I booked on-line and before I arrived, I could not find a phone number for the Luxury Inn.
I called the reservation service and they didn’t have record of my reservation (this was after the date to cancel).
The reservation service gave me a phone number for the Luxury Inn. I called. There was no answer. There was no voicemail. Google “street view” coincidentally shows a moving van at the back door removing assets.
Oh No! I have no reservation! And I’ve been scammed.
The second call was answered and there was no problem. I recommend you tidy up your reservation protocols.

Overall our stay was good.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable, thank you for making the bed up everyday for us. Greatly appreciated. The motel was located in a great place on the main street. The staff member was courteous and friendly.

Cons:

The fact that I had to request that they make the bed and tidy the room. This should be done daily. We were on holidays and it always makes a difference when we come back to our room and its freshened up.

A clean and convenient place for a short stay. We were on a roadtrip and would stay here again in a similar circumstance. AC unit in our room worked great. We walked to the downtown area and back in the evening and felt safe.

Cons:

There was a smell in the lobby that thankfully didn't travel to our room on the second floor.
