Quiet lovely place away from tourist area…great breakfast.
Pros:

The property inspires serenity…it’s quiet and calming. The breakfast was wonderful and the setting in the garden patio lovely. Best Spanish omelette I’ve ever had. The room was clean and modern with a nice kettle in the room for coffee/tea…always a plus. Hotel staff professional and helpful. Only a 10 minute walk into touristy area.

Cons:

There is a bar but didn’t seem to be bar service available the night we were there. It would have been nice to have a glass of wine in the lovely courtyard or garden area.

Un 4 Estrellas que funciona como un hostal

La cama era cómoda.

Cons:

Una vergüenza de atención en recepción. Cogí el pack oferta romántica, que incluía el late check out a las 14h. Cuando llegué a hacer el check-in, la recepcionista ya empezó a ponerme pegas, a decirme con bastante altivez que eso sólo era "bajo disponibilidad", y que sólo hasta las 13h. Tampoco entendió a razones cuando le enseñé a través de booking por lo que yo había pagado. Al día siguiente, otro compañero nos da otra información, y sin embargo a las 13:30 esta misma recepcionista me llama a la habitación con malos modales para decir que nos fuésemos. Cuando llegué a la recepción a las 14:20 y hablé con la persona responsable, tampoco nos dio una solución y ambas trataron de echarle la culpa al compañero que había afirmado esa mañana que podíamos salir más tarde, como ponía en la reserva de Booking. Esta superior sólo nos ofreció que nos quedáramos más rato... cuando ya estábamos en la puerta con las maletas.
Una descoordinación absoluta, una falta de comunicación interna brutal y la educación y el trato al cliente que espero de un hostal de carretera, no de un Eurostars de cuatro estrellas. Experiencia pésima.

Nice hotel and well located but for a 4 star needs to sharpen up
Pros:

Generally fine and very interesting building with older items and artefacts
Breakfast was exceptional

Cons:

For a 4 star hotel one would expect tea making facilities and free daily water in the room
The receptionist on our afternoon arrival was excellent but the evening staff lacked any sign of experience

Loved it and we'll definitely stay there again.
Pros:

The staff were lovely. The breakfast was superb - plenty of choice, fresh and replenished often.
Lovely roman ruins within the hotel.
Location was fine and so close to the Plaza de la Corredera. An easy walk to the Templo Romano and the elegant Plaza de las Tendillas. However around a 15 min walk to the Mezquita etc so may not suit everyone.
(On the walk to Plaza de las Tendillas, there's a lovely Spanish bar on the left - very traditional.)
The upside is that the location's not heaving with tourists.
Good for business travellers too as they have a business centre.

Cons:

A city hotel so not surpringly, there's no pool, spa, roof terrace.
Maybe not ideal for children - but then Cordoba is probably not first choice for families with small children.
