This welcoming hotel greeted us with smiles and warmth. Throughout our 2-night stay, from start to finish, the staff were friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. The breakfast on both mornings was adequate; although a vegetarian option wasn't listed, they gladly prepared one when asked. The receptionist, whose name I forgot, was particularly supportive and helpful, especially when advising us on nearby dining options. We would love to return and recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat away from busy city life.
The location was perfect for me as I had a wedding at Birtsmorton Court, the hotel was beautiful inside the rooms were big and had everything you needed and lots of special touches. The grounds were lovely too and loads of parking. Staff were lovely.
Nothing
The newly renovated reception and bar areas were nice and stylish
The room was very dated and bath tap didn’t have any cold water
A super location for Hartpury International Horse Trials. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and an excellent dinner.
In this really hot weather, my room was horribly warm when I arrived and the small fan did very little to improve it. Keeping the curtains closed during the day helped and, when I asked for one, I was given a sheet instead of a duvet.
Lovely tranquil break in a quiet location. Wonderful room and delicious meals.
A beautiful Grade 2 listed building in Corse Lawn. Close to Tewkesbury and Gloucester. The hotel sits in a rural area and boasts a lake at the front and a courtyard to the rear. The dining room is beautifully decorated and the reception light and welcoming. There is a bar and tables and chairs arranged in the courtyard. The meals served in the restaurant were well presented and enjoyable.
The staff were all friendly and efficient. Our ground floor room was spacious and had an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower cubicle. We understand that since the new owners only took ownership last year, they are endeavouring to update and renovate throughout. We really enjoyed our three night stay.
A lovely hotel where we have eaten many times over the last 10 years but this was our first stay. The service was excellent, our room was well appointed & the new owners have made some real improvements. The setting is beautiful & the food was delicious and very good value.
We had to rearrange our visit due to unforeseen events and the hotel staff were very understanding and caring.
The food was great and our room was spacious. When things were missing from the room they were immediately rectified. Above all the manager and staff were very helpful and friendly.
A lovely night away having booked their 2 course dinner B&b night away. It was hot but they provided a fan in the room. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Having changed owners they have recently tastefully decorated downstairs so far and said they are going to update the rooms in due course. Ours was very clean. The 20% discount on pre dinner drinks was a super extra bounce. The food was serviced on very hot plates at dinner and breakfast which my husband was delighted by. We will definitely be back. Many thanks.
Such a welcoming hotel, the staff were all very hardworking and very attentive. We went out to walk and explore the area over the three days we were there, and it was a treat to come back for the 20% off the afternoon drink out in the courtyard! So quiet and peaceful and we would love to stay again.
Have visited this hotel several times over last few years still welcoming.
Staff pleasant food very good and the new patio area was a nice place to have a drink before eating.
We stayed in the 4 poster room as only one available this was comfortable a little dated but clean - couple of issues we had were sorted by the 2nd day of our stay.
There is still quite a lot of work to do at the hotel but they are making progress and we will return.
We booked a dinner bed and breakfast stay on a deal.
The large hotel, set in beautiful grounds, is a joy to see inside, oldy worldy with well kept furniture and a lovely ambiance. Friendly welcome and we were shown to our en-suite room which was large and well stocked with the usual tea making facilities and also a Nespresso machine and biscuits, a nice touch.
The furniture in the bedroom was very dated but in good condition and like a throw back to the 80's, but fitted perfectly into the setting of the hotel.
The food was on another level, amazing delicious 2 course meal in the evening in a comfortable dining room with background music playing. The breakfast was freshly cooked, of good variety and also delicious. The waiting staff pleasant and friendly.
The hotel is very isolated situated on a main road (the noise no issue) with no surrounding other pubs to visit, but we found the drinks very reasonable and a nice patio area to sit on and with the lovely food served, there's no need to venture out.
Plenty of ample parking.
All in all we had a great comfortable stay and would definitely return if in the area
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Corse Lawn House Hotel. We had a standard room which was spacious and En-suite had both a bath with shower over and a walk in shower. Windows are due for replacement but we were provided with sticks to hold them up. There was also a fan in the room, iron and ironing board. Furniture was old but suited the room. Staff were helpful but a little slow in the dining room. The all inclusive menu was the same each day but there were 4/5 choices and the food was really good. There were grounds to explore a cricket pitch and a tennis court to use and it was easy to get to most places of interest from there. The
Hotel is gradually being refurbished and they are making a good job of it. The staff are really helpful and we enjoyed spending time before dinner on the patio. The only thing I did report to the reception was that the waste stack at the side of the patio area is not tall enough and was a bit smelly. Also they had winter bed quilts on the beds and need to invest in new summer weight bed quilts. Bed was very comfortable. We would definitely go again.
We had a friendly welcome and were shown to our room, very spacious and clean. Maybe some attention to the bathroom required, but didn't really bother us, it was perfectly clean which is the main thing. We ate in the bar area as we had our dog with us. We thought we may be overlooked as we were the only ones there, but the service was good and the food on both nights, and breakfast, were also very good. The communal areas were cosy and nicely furnished, making it feel welcoming. We loved the outside seating area for late afternoon drinks, lovely suntrap. Also it was good to have the short field walk right outside the back of the hotel for the dog. The waiting staff were all very pleasant and helpful and hardworking as it was busy with the special offer on. We hope to return soon as it was a lovely relaxing break. Thankyou.
Beautiful old school hotel with some lovely
modern touches. Huge room which was very clean. The food was amazing. Best Thai curry ever which was a special. Service excellent and we took full advantage of 20% off drinks after a day out and before dinner, 4.30-6.30.
Great place.
Beautiful hotel in spacious grounds.
Our room was large, comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was old world charm in style. Wifi was good, shower excellent. We had dinner and breakfast for 2 days. The food was extremely tasty and plentiful. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Large car park and a croquet lawn which we enjoyed.
Easy access to the Malvern Hills and some lovely towns.
