Location
Room dated and had a leak from the upstairs bathroom
Great location
Overpriced, dirty, most uncomfortable bed. Would not recommend.
Grubbiness.
Friendly staff, brilliant location
Great location, good size room.
No cooked breakfast. Had to go and find a cafe.
Perfect location
A lot of noise early in morning
Probably the nearest hotel to the theatre which is why we stayed here and it’s good value
Our room was a bit tired
Great location , very friendly staff
I stayed here a few years ago and loved it.. but it’s gone downhill… the rooms are tired and badly need redecorating, the breakfast is very poor… better not to offer it.
There are many good things about this accommodation . The staff were excellent and friendly. The evening meal was great. The rooms were clean and we found the beds comfortable. It is in a fabulous location for the Chichester Festival Theatre.
With so much going for it, it is a real shame that so much of the accommodation could do with TLC and in particular the paintwork needs attention, not least in the staircase entrance to the rooms,
It’s a Pub. I like pubs
Really hot on the room and the Fan provided didn’t seem to move any air at all
Location
Beds lumpy squeaky & uncomfortable
Shower dirty tiles
Needs updating very dated looks nice outside dingy inside
Proximity to theatre
Location
Only good things about the property was the location and some of the staff were friendly.
Room was ridiculously basic for £97, walls were scraped, beds were flimsy and wobbly and one tiny window in the room, with a cheap fan that’s just blowing hot air around, upon arrival at the property, was given a key and went to check the room was locked before we left, put the key and turned the key not even a quarter turn and it snapped, explained to staff and a short blonde woman behind the bar was rude and abrupt and kept shouting “that’ll be £20!” which is ridiculous as I hadn’t lost it or being too physical with the key, upon explaining the situation she threw her arms in the air and went behind the bar muttering under her breath. Charged £15 to my card without having a proper discussion about it, spare key was absolutely fine and had no issues with it so the key they gave out was obviously worn, staff even said it happens all the time so not to worry. Not worth the prices they charge at all, wouldn’t recommend.
