Good and would stay again but could be better
Pros:

The pub was in an ideal location, just a short walk to the centre of Chichester and where we needed to be.There is plenty of city parking in the car parks just a short walk away.
The room was at the back of the pub and on the ground floor, proberbly a converted stable block and was fronted by the pubs garden area. The room it self was a good size and comfortable.

Cons:

The room was fine but tired. Could do with a little make over and it would lift it.
Breakfast was a basic continental and could be better.A little more choice of meats and cheeses and fruit would be good and more variation on the bread available, rolls, French stick etc, rather than just sliced bread.

A big mistake
Cons:

Room dirty and tired. Television not operational. Fan damaged and unusable. Room was not serviced.
A rave booked for Saturday 4th & not advised. God awful music and ridiculously loud with speakers pointing directly towards the rooms. Advised that doors would be closed at 9pm and music not audible. Music was not turned down and still very audible until 11.30pm which was unacceptable.

Pros:

Located in the town centre, so walking distance to everything we wanted. Nice little rooms that had historic charm about them. Clean. Comfy beds.

Cons:

The hairdryer in my room set on fire as soon as I switched it on to use it! Luckily, I was able to unplug it and leave the building with it, and the flame died. However, this left our room smelling awful. I gave the hairdryer to a member of staff and told them what happened. He just said oh sorry about that and took it from me. I'm very lucky I didn't burn myself or my hair! The hairdryer had obviously not been checked before our arrival.

Nice but failed to provide
Pros:

Staff were great and friendly ,location great. Room was clean. Food was very good.

Cons:

Room was a bit tired , flacking ceiling in shower. Iron but no board. This was during the heat wave hotel could not provide any air cooling I.e fans. Room had no AC, though instructions how to use. Room was very hot. Continental breakfast but no plant milk for so I could not have cereal or tea. Bar was too hot to have dinner in .

Great place and lovely breakfast central location.
Pros:

The location of the property was ideal as we were cycling. Great facilities and room was very comfortable.

Cons:

With cycling there was no safe secure place to leave the bikes. Ideal with the size of the place for a place to be secured.

I would not have stayed if payment had not been taken already, it was totally over priced for a very low end environment
Pros:

The location to the Cathedral

Cons:

The pictures gave a completely false impression on the standard of the rooms

Superb location, friendly, would definitely stay again
Pros:

Perfect location, so central. Nothing flash, but everything you need, clean, tidy, comfortable bed, friendly staff. I enjoyed my short stay here.

Cons:

Might need to consider aircon as the summers get hotter. But i have no complaints per se.

Disappointing as I'd stayed before with no issues
Pros:

Good location - rooms cleaned daily

Cons:

There was a persistent drip in the bathroom - the property were obviously aware of this as they'd placed a towel underneath it to deaden the noise. However, nothing was mentioned when i checked in and the 'fix' didn't work - it was still an annoying, metronomic, splat.
I'd stayed 2 years before and there was a significant increase in price - which is fine. What rankled however was the above drip and the fact they had downgraded the breakfast from a cooked option to basic continental.
