Location
Parts are dated but they are making upgrades
The views from the large room were amazing, and the decor was very stylish. Ample kitchen appliances etc.
The size of the ironing board and the ironing board cover had no padding, as it was worn, leaving pieces of foam on the floor. One chair on the balcony had perished material, so it was unsafe to sit on.
Excellent location, space was amazing
I realised it cost more on booking.com then booking directly with Coolum Captice
The location was excellent
The rooms look tired and the pillows were hard
Very good view and location
The smell in the apartment
Nothing provided.

Location and size of unit
The pillows were terrible, flat and hard. Really need to invest in good quality pillows as have decorated an older until well with accessories but bad night sleep due to pillows
Great location
Fantastic location and our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. The balcony overlooked the beach and had comfy big chairs to chillax in. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming.
Great view, fabulous location
Location was great. Layout and facilities were good.
The room was functional but tired, badly in need of renovation.
Beautiful views and large room
The construction next door was really loud and shook our whole apartment all day
I like when they transfer us to another room because we complained on the first room that was given to us and we are grateful to the reception girl who did everything to transfer us to a fabulous new room. The answer to the survey is our final room #6.
The first room when we came was a disaster. Unpresentable and unclean.

Location and views could not be beaten
The unit wasn’t as clean as previous standards. Staff were however straight on to rectifying.
The location is great as it’s across the main road from the Coolum Surf Club, park and beach, and next to the local shopping strip with cafes, clothing stores, chemists etc. There is a delicious Greek Restaurant across the side street.
The 180 degree views were absolutely stunning and having two balconies with 2 small tables and some chairs was great. The open living/dining kitchen area was very spacious and the air conditioning in bedrooms and fan in living area kept the temperature pleasant. The beds were comfortable and showers were good. The crockery, cutlery and cookware supplied was ample.
The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. The lift worked well. Underground secure parking was convenient and late check-in was easy.
We’ve stayed before and will happily stay again.
It’s a pity that certain aspects of the accommodation let the apartment down as it has the potential to be lovely with more attention to maintenance and some updating.
It looked as if the kitchen and bathrooms had been retiled. We personally didn’t like the cobalt blue speckled kitchen benchtops as it was difficult to see crumbs etc on them.
However the rest of the apartment looked a little worn and neglected and could do with repainting to freshen it up.
The main bedroom light globe needed to be replaced. It should have been checked by cleaning staff but to be fair was replaced promptly when we mentioned it.
The large mirror in the main bedroom was badly tarnished, and the exhaust fan cover in the ensuite bathroom was missing and the exposed piping duct was filthy.
The laminate around the basin looked old fashioned and had some yellow stains on it. There were some small holes in the wall above the basin which suggest something used to be attached that wasn’t replaced.
There was NOwhere to hang our bath towels in the ensuite bathroom, and there was only 1 bath towel each. Many other places provide 2 per person.
We found a previous guest’s kid’s underwear & socks in the clothes dryer (another oversight by the cleaner/s)
There was an ugly, filthy exterior wall grate in the hall outside our apartment and a very unpleasant fishy oily cooking odour in the hall each night. We couldn’t figure out where it was coming from.
The exterior of the building is currently unappealing as it’s covered in scaffolding, but that can’t be helped while refurbishment is happening. We were pre-warned there could be construction noise during weekdays, but we were lucky as there was no construction noise on the Friday we were there.
