Pros:

We arrived at the hotel at 8:30 pm, and there was plenty of parking space at the door. The reception staff were very welcoming and in a very tired and hungry state we were told that we could order a la carte for dinner and that we would also have free access to the rest of the buffet for the day, which included salad greens and eggs.

After the dishes were served, every dish was amazing. After removing the carefully arranged pasta, the hot pot steam and strong fragrance hit your face.

The juicy steak and fragrant vegetable soup instantly dispel fatigue, and coupled with the elastic squid, it is very satisfying.

After eating at other restaurants in the town of Ortisei, we agreed that the dishes at pontives are more cost-effective

The room is also very comfortable. Although the furniture is a bit old, it is clean and tidy, and there is a balcony where you can watch the stars.

In the middle of a suburb with no facilities.

Spotless, relaxed and quirky
Pros:

This property is spotless. Yes it’s a little distance from the main town but we actually enjoyed the quiet. The staff are amazing breakfast tasty and if you stay for dinner the food is old fashioned wholesome. If you know the show Faulty Towers it’s like being on set of an Italian/German show. It’s quirky and fun

Ruime en zeer schone kamer, met een kleine kanttekening bij onze ervaring tijdens het ontbijt.

Zeer schone en ruime kamer. De badkamer was wat gedateerd, maar wel netjes, schoon en ruim.

Cons:

We wilden na het ontbijt direct door naar een wandeling en hadden daarom onze rugzak meegenomen. Bij de receptie werd ons gevraagd deze bij achter te laten vanwege ruimtegebrek bij de tafel in het restaurant, terwijl er naar ons idee voldoende plek was. Dat voelde wat ongemakkelijk en onnodig en was daardoor een wat vreemde ervaring.
