Lovely for a short stay
Pros:

The room was small but cozy, the dining area and reception were modern and clean. Staff were fab

Cons:

The room was the cleanest. Unfortunately the bins in our room weren’t empty and had rubbish from the last people. The shower clearly hadn’t been cleaned either as had dirt and hair

A great location for meeting up with family to view the eclipse. Fabulous views over Glastonbury Tor
Pros:

Perfect location for viewing the eclipse!
Staff were very helpful: we moved tables 3 times trying to see the eclipse but avoid the extreme heat on the terrace!

Cons:

The terrace is a great sun-trap for cooler times, but maybe needs a rethink, more shade and cooler flooring for the hot summers!

A relaxing stay in a lovely part of the country.
Pros:

Lovely location, friendly helpful staff, ample parking with car charging facilities. Themed menu each night in the restaurant. Robert & Bhushan were very accommodating throughout, Bhushan ensured we had every we needed.

Cons:

The whole place needs to be thoroughly cleaned. We noticed spiders webs and dust in the room as well as in the reception area.

It. Was. Brilliant.
Pros:

All the food was fantastic. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We got upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was awesome!

Cons:

The room was generally clean, but I noticed some dirt and dust, as though the cleaning had been rushed and not as thorough as it could have been.

Exquisite. We will definitely return
Pros:

The property was absolutely everything we were looking for!! With only a few days available to have some time away, the hotel made it incredibly special. The location was perfect being rural and only a few miles from Wells. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, they really were a great addition to the overall experience. The room…….well, outstanding value for money, just beautiful.

Cons:

I cannot fault anything

Don’t go here during the summer as there is no air con and make sure you don’t eat here as it’s not worth it.
Pros:

The room was extremely clean and beautiful even getting a free upgrade was amazing. The staff member who initially greeted us was amazing she was helpful and extremely kind.

Cons:

To start with, the room had no air con even though it was 33 degrees outside. They did supply a couple of fans but they did almost nothing. We were sweating constantly while in our room and had a horrible night sleep waking up multiple times through the night. The service was slow being sat down we were then waiting almost 30 mins just to order drinks even though we weren’t even given a drinks menu. The restaurant wasn’t even overly busy with just 3 other tables of 2 in the extension section, with 3 wait staff and separate staff at the bar. The food was greasy and tasteless also the servers didn’t even know what it was when they gave it to us. Breakfast was the only good part but we had to wait 15 minutes for the hostess to show us to our table as they were no where to be seen. The breakfast was a small selection of items with no fresh fruit being served only fruit salad and 1 type of yogurt being available. The bread that they offered was cheap and not good quality. For the price of this hotel and it being a 5 star it is not what you would expect.

Worth a try.
Pros:

Staff all very pleasant, although restaurant service was often slow.
Large, elevated patio dining/bar, with far-reaching views over the Somerset levels to Glastonbury Tower. Food varied and generally very acceptable.
Ample free parking with bonus of 4 good value EV charging points.
Rural setting, so nice and quiet at night.
Overall, good value for money.

Cons:

Executive room ok but let down by the tired fittings and carpets. Daily cleaning was at best superficial but we have stayed here before and not had this problem, so perhaps a cleaner in need of some guidance or training!!

Very enjoyable weekend stay, in a well run and friendly place with good food and panoramic views.
Pros:

Lovely location. Plenty of off road parking. Efficient and friendly. Staff all interacted easily and helpfully with guests. Good choice of food on menus and especially for breakfast. Clean room and comfortable beds.

Cons:

The stairs were not the easiest, and a lift would be helpful.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Crossways and look forward to returning next year.
Pros:

We have stayed at Crossways many times and return due to the excellent service and standard of the facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful and we enjoy the relax nature of our stay. We also enjoy the breakfast which is of a very high standard.

Cons:

Although there were blinds curtains at the windows would have helped reduce the light coming in. Would also prefer a bath instead of shower which is easier for the children

Very friendly staff, comfortable room, delicious breakfast
Pros:

We were upgraded to a better room. Free and spacious car parking. Breakfast included which was a bonus. we were allowed to check in slightly earlier than anticipated thank you.

Cons:

A grab bar safety in the shower/Jacuzzi bathroom is essential for the type of room we occupied.
