Location excellent, will be a very great property once the renovations are completed.
Pros:

Room was available early and staff contacted me. The location is great and the hotel has so much potential. Bed was comfortable. Restaurant and staff at the restaurant were excellent.

Cons:

We saw that the rooms were being renovated and the renovations look excellent - we had a peek. We stayed in the un-renovated rooms that are very tired looking, drain smells from the bathroom not pleasant however the room was very clean. Renovations commenced at 6.20am on Saturday morning - trades people woke me up - you might want to change this or let people know the accommodation is being renovated. I would recommend that the accommodation also ensure the surroundings are tidy as the outlook from my room included some of the demolition debris and and tired old outside furniture. Mould on the windows as well....

Pros:

Beautiful grounds. Very good location close to local eateries and other cellar doors. Facilities nice but a little outdated but that was no issue. Our aircon was not working but upon advising staff, who was very helpful arranged some lovely complimentry wines to be sent to us. We were very impressed with the care factor and excellent after service. A big shout out to Hope! Looking forward to returning to try out the new refurbished accomodation.

Rooms need a renovation
Pros:

Beautiful grounds, well maintained, room was very clean and spacious.

Cons:

The room decor is very tired, which brings the experience down - because the grounds are lovely and well maintained and obviously the region is stunning. The furniture should be thrown away. A lick of paint, new carpets, tiling and updated furniture would change everything.
