Lovely modern and clean, spacious room

Good location plenty of parking facilities , great room
We were greeted and made very welcome when we arrived. Easy to register and collect the keys. We were shown to our room, which was very smart, clean and well decorated, then all details of using the entry door and parking. Everything was perfect. After an invigorating walk-in shower, we ate in the dining area, and wasn't there an amazing selection!
My wife and I had different foods, esp as she is gluten and dairy free, but this didn't cause any worry, and the food arrived very promptly. All good, fresh, hot food, with very generous portions.
After a quiet night on the firm but comfortable bed, we both said what a find this hotel is, and the buffet breakfast was more than sufficient to keep us going all day.
The hot water was slightly discoloured coming out of the taps.....

Nothing really.
It was basics level of comfort .
The evening meal I paid £14 for and haven’t ate anything. Whole meal was full of pepper. Not able to eat. Reported to the waitress, response was “I will give a feedback to the kitchen”.
Whole place in need of tlc , mattress was well used.
Next door guests were so loud , I bang to the wall and reported to the reception next day. Sleepless night for me.
Nowhere to say that breakfast was only continental. Bit gutted this wasn’t highlighted at the point of booking.
Absolutely fabulous room, very comfortable bed, lovely shower. Very friendly staff and incredibly modern facilities. Would stay here again without a doubt.

The room could do with a fresh coat of paint and the shared toilets are very tatty and need to be freshened up.
The Raven Hotel staff are always friendly and welcoming and the food is very generous and delicious 😋.
Its always clean but the rooms could just do with a fresh coat of paint if i were to be picky.
But overall i have stayed at The Raven Hotel many times when i visist Corby and will continue to do so and its a great value for money ...
