La ubicación, la mejor
Im Laufe der letzten 14 Jahre war ich zum vierten Mal in Burgos und auch in diesem Hotel. Damals war das Hotel frisch renoviert und die Zimmer sehr einfallsreich gestaltet. Leider hat das von Aufenthalt zu Aufenthalt immer weiter nachgelassen. Unschlagbar jedoch ist der perfekte Blick vom Balkon zum Fluß, zur Brücke, zur Puerta de Santa María und zur großartigen gotischen Kathedrale. Dieser Blick ist ein Erlebnis an sich. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist das neben dem Hotel befindliche Parkhaus und der sehr kurze Weg zur Innenstadt und zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Man muss abwägen, ob man die Nachteile der Unterkunft wegsteckt und sich mit den nicht zu unterschätzenden Vorteilen trösten kann. Wenn man die Caféteria nicht besucht, hat man nur wenig mit dem Personal zu tun. Ich möchte hier aber nicht versäumen, zu erwähnen, dass die Dame an der Rezeption sehr freundlich und für meine Anliegen offen war, was insbesondere Verbindungsschwierigkeiten mit dem WIFI betraf. Dabei hat sie mir wirklich mit großer Geduld geholfen, wofür ich auch sehr dankbar bin.
Leider ist das Hotel arg in die Jahre gekommen und somit auch von dem positiven Eindruck, den ich vor 14 Jahren gewonnen hatte, nicht viel übriggebblieben. Den Abstieg über Jahre konnte ich während zweier weiterer Besuche verfolgen. Wie es den Eindruck macht, ist seit 2012 nicht mehr viel investiert worden. Was damals schön war, ist inzwischen verwohnt und in einem gewissen Verrottungsprozeß befindlich. Diese natürliche Abnutzung, der man mit ein paar mehr Investitionen begegnen könnte, wäre vielleicht noch hinnehmbar. Nicht hinnehmbar für mich war aber, dass es leider sehr schmutzig war, z.B. Spinnweben an der Balkontür, deren letzter Putzvorgang offensichtlich schon länger zurücklag, Dreckstellen im Bad und am Boden festgeklebter Unrat, den ich nicht näher definieren konnte, schmutzige Schubladen etc.etc. Ich sage es sehr ungern und bedauere es auch, denn ich habe dieses Hotel sehr gemocht und bin auch immer wieder wegen des wunderschönen Balkonblicks dort hingefahren.

El hotel reune todas las condiciones necesarias para que la estancia sea muy grata. Lahabitación muy actualizada y sin ruidos a pesar de estar en una zona con bastante tráfico.
Una ubicación magnífica, frente al Arco de Santa Maria y Catedral de Burgos.
La ducha debe mantenerse mejor y quitar las manchas de moho en las esquinas
