Lovely hotel, super kind and friendly staff. Would definitely come back.
Pros:

Absolutely lovely. Staff were so friendly and rooms were comfortable and quiet.

Cons:

Tiny issue hardly worth a mention but the scrambled eggs had a slightly "grainy" / odd texture.
Really did not spoil a lovely stay just wondering if others noticed this?🤔

very good view of sea and gardens . a Suite for a 50th anniversary.

Cons:

Shower in the bath very difficult to use ,and unsafe therefore unused. Very small bathroom , conversion .Dangerous glass shelf protruding over basin , very difficult to clean teeth without hitting your face, spitting.
Poor sleep for the three nights due to heat although requested blanket to replace heavy duvet helped but not enough.

They don’t make them like this any more
Pros:

A well appointed ‘period’ property which has lots of charm and great facilities . The gardens inc putting and outdoor pool are a delight lovely outside terraces and lovely indoor lounges and bar . The dining room is a chandelier delight . The ground floor is stylish in a classical style . The staff are ultra helpful . Rooms are comfortable with tea/coffee equipment and fridge . Ample free car parking adjacent . The location gives views towards Beachy Head and being just out of town and away from the main road it is very quiet and restful . Would stay again and for longer

Cons:

No aircon in rooms tho a fan is provided and at emery the wid we can be opened . To be fair we did stay when temps exceeded 30c

Great place , a little out of town but clean lovely staff great grounds.
Pros:

Outdoor pool, garden staff were fantastic.

Cons:

It was extremely hot due to heat wave , fan in the room was not very effective, but it was the same for all guests.

Lovely characterful hotel, in great setting, stunning views, friendly staff, cute little room

Great location, high on a hill. Lovely relaxed vibe on ground floor area, comfy chairs to sit in, friendly staff, high ceilings, cool, beautiful garden and views, LOVED the swimming pool!! Tasty breakfast
