Pros:

Great location, free parking, ocean views including whales, spacious apartment.

Cons:

2nd bedroom at the rear of the apartment is quite lit up at night, blinds not shutting out the walkway lights. Being country people used to sleep time being dark time, bring an eye mask next time!!

Lovely views with a few trade-offs
Pros:

The view from the apartment and proximity to town, transport, and walk options were great. Staff were friendly. The lounge area was done really well too, was comfortable in the evenings.

Cons:

The complex is dated and rooms and facilities in need of a refurbishment. The building also appears to have a lot of older residents, and I got the feeling we were staying in their home based on the sheet of rules you are handed on arrival. The pool area spent most of its day in shade (in May), leaving only the windswept beach. You are warned about the construction noise - but being woken at 6:40am by a jack hammer still caught us by surprise (this should all be over soon I understand).
