Beautiful heritage hotel
Pros:

Gorgeous heritage hotel in Hepburn with its own small hot springs retreat, and a lovely restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay and the dine-and-bathe package! So relaxing. We loved being able to walk out the door and wander around Hepburn, too.

Cons:

The hotel fit-out is getting a tiny bit tired, just in terms of chips and wear on surfaces – as one might expect a number of years after a renovation. Didn't affect our enjoyment, but just something to note. Also the bed was very soft – which will be a plus for many people! Just highlighting it for others' information.

Pros:

We had the garden spa room and was able to watch the stars while we enjoyed our spa. Also staff and service at The Argus was phenomenal. We had a fantastic time and food was amazing

Rustic charm, friendly staff, very comfortable and good value for money.
Pros:

Loved the lay out of the units and the gardens. Loved the library area and the open fire places. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous breakfast included.

Not worth the money - stay somewhere else
Pros:

Location was good

Cons:

Firstly the room - very small and worn out could do with a deep clean - the grout in the shower was disgusting, the mastic is worn out and falling away - no ventilation in the bathroom - in all over priced
Secondly the restaurant- Argus, worst decision to dine in would’ve got a better meal at a fast food joint
The steak was over cooked and the pork cutlet was under cooked and just fat, the crackling was a cracker real poor and over priced - dine out

Pros:

Great hotel! But wouldn't recommend the Gatsby room.
Pros:

Hotel grounds and hotel were lovely. Great atmosphere and beautiful building. Breakfast was great, enjoyed the shared spaces .

Cons:

We stayed in the Gatsby room, and I wouldn't recommend. While the tub was very comfy, and the shower was good, the room itself is arranged in an odd way. The bed is small, a double, and bits of furniture stick out in ill considered, strange ways. The glass walled toilet situation so close to the bed head is a little... Unromantic. There are windows, hidden by the bathroom. But there's also no curtains so the room is quite bright in the morning. Weird room! Nice hotel though. I'd gladly stay again in a different room.
