Fabulous location.
Pros:

The location is fabulous. The view is great for the price - clever use of mirrors in the room.

Cons:

It is a very old motel - although it's been renovated and is generally clean and tidy, it still has paper thin walls, which meant that conversations, blind openings/closings and "other goings on" [hint hint] in the neighbouring rooms could be very easily heard well into the night.

Cons:

I didn't like that the bathroom was small and it had the smallest sink I've ever seen and I don't like shower curtains

Great Location
Pros:

Great location, right near everything in Manly — the beach, bars, restaurants and plenty of coffee shops.

The beds were very comfortable, and although we had a small room, it had a little breakfast bar overlooking the beach. It was a lovely spot to sit, relax and people-watch while enjoying the view.

Cons:

It can be noisy of a night and parking is off-site, although it’s only a short distance away.

Would never book this property again
Pros:

Nothing. The room stank with cigarettes and alcohol in the carpet. There were hairs in the shower. I can’t stop thinking how bad this room was in my home country. So embarrassing.

Cons:

The smell, the size, the “ocean view” was pathetic. Hairs in the shower.

Great option for short stays
Pros:

Great location across from the beach and surrounded by bars and restaurants. One of the cheapest accom in the area.

Cons:

Booked as parking was included, then told afterwards spaces are only reserved for an extra $45 fee. Couldn't locate parking access when I arrived at night so parked on the street anyway.

Very comfortable and welcoming. Would have no hesitation in staying there again.
Pros:

Location can't be beat in Manly. Looking out over the beach was beautiful.

Cons:

Bathroom size could have been bigger but that was the only issue. Certainly not a deal breaker though.

Amazing!
Pros:

This was the first time we had ever been to Manly. The room was perfect wirh an ocean view. The staff were absolutely lovely, and helped us with any questions we had.

Cons:

It was clean. We had drive up from Melbourne. Grateful to rest our head somewhere that was clean and tidy.

Great overnight or short term stay - value for money if you dont count the parking fee!
Pros:

Room was spotlessly clean. Shower a little small (esp if you are bigger in body) water cascaded out onto tiles. Was referred to by the Receptionist/Owner as the budget room???? on street level and noise was an issue , location was amazing, access and parking provided for a fee - no bedside table on one side - overhead lights above bed. Mattress a little hard for my liking however the linen was high quality . Kitchen was fully equipped - close to all the restaraunts and walking distance to shops (amazing). Not for long term stay but maybe 1-2 nights. Venue offers bigger rooms for a higher price.

Cons:

Being told it was the "budget room"- made us feel we werent valued customers (poor). Parking fee was a little steep, although on par with Council fees I believe

All you need, but not luxurious.
Pros:

Great location, rooms are on the small side, but clean and offer all the basics you need. Price was competitive.

Cons:

The room was noisy until about 11pm (traffic, pedestrians, beach), but fairly quiet after 11pm. Outside noise starts early (6am). Price was competitive in a high demand area - but bear in mind it is very basic.

Great location and good value for money.
Pros:

The late checkin was easy and early checkout as well even though the reception was closed. The location was excellent with a view of the beach. Also, the room was large and generally well equipped.

Cons:

Having a nespresso machine would have been good. Also, the window in the room was not very air tight so there was a cold draught in the part of the room close to it.
