Pros:

Breakfast was excellent- plenty of variety. The staff were lovely and tried to be helpful with everything. The decor is lovely if you prefer old fashioned English design . The only really modern addition they have made is that there are plenty of plugs in the rooms. Wifii was pretty good too. Great spot for sitting out on the lawn and relaxing, which is not my thing.

Cons:

There was really no assistance with organizing hikes and biking from the hotel. If you plan to hike come prepared with your own maps etc.
There is no gym and they do not offer yoga mats . There is no spa- and no spa services. Somehow I missed this when we chose the place.

Pros:

Very tasteful decor, new, and the location was great, less touristy amberside is quaint and the hotel is near to the town. The breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

The kettle wasn’t clean.

Perfection, the entire visit, the staff, ambience, food and service were wonderful
Pros:

Breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented. The table and setting were both perfect

Cons:

Tbh I can’t think of anything that could have been better. We stayed in 4 fantastic hotels on our travels, all were excellent and Rothay Manor was the best against some really strong completion

Schönes gutes Hotel in zentraler Lage

Sehr schönes Hotel. Zentrale Lage, sehr sauber. Gutes Frühstück. Kostenlose Parkplätze. Nettes hilfsbereites Personal.

Cons:

Wir haben einmal das Abendessen im Hotel eingenommen. Das Essen war sehr speziell, sehr kleine Portionen und sehr teuer. Uns hat es nicht gefallen, aber das ist Geschmacksache.

the room was excellent with views across the garden. the bathroom was huge & the shower had plenty of hot water. the staff were both friendly & helpful. the food both in the evening & at breakfast was superb, & the service spot on. free parking. highly recommended.

Stunning hotel, peaceful and relaxing!
Pros:

Breakfast was superb! Room was beautiful and spacious, with a great terrace to enjoy the lovely weather. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay with our baby. The dinner at Rowan was unbelievable! The vibe of the hotel is so peaceful with stunning grounds. It's a very short drive into town or neighbouring areas.
