Property needs updating, shower head fixing broken, tap needed a new washer

A couple of minor things, a cobweb on the light fixture, a weak flush on the toilet. I turned on the taps in the bath to rinse it out and when I turned them off again the hot tap just kept flowing. I didn't want to bother the staff as they were busy with the restaurant. It turned out I just had to push down on the knob as I turned it, I suspect a washer or something needs to be replaced.

Room very tired, windows dirty, bathroom very old fashioned and plumbing noisy every time you flushed the toilet or turned the tap on. No hairdryer available but decided against using the shower. No bulbs in bedside lamps, still rubbish in the bin and at bottom or wardrobe.

Room was dirty. Room was not serviced, unclean, no ‘mind the steps’ sign so I fell into the room!!! Ripped dirty curtains. Dirty floors, tatty furniture, spiders and cobwebs everywhere, dirt and half used toiletries behind beds.

The room while pleasantly decorated needed adjustments. the bathroom cubicle was in poor condition with severe black mould and crumbing plaster. the shower was in pieces but worked. Basin was loose on the wall and wallpaper was peeling. The rooms were not tender but I had to ask for the rubbish to be removed. There was one occasion when I was directed to the bins for rubbish removal. There was no milk in the room for the tea and it took time for this to be corrected.

Bedding was clean but not changed thought my stay 21st August to 3rd September. Exit and entrance of the hotel was not explained and a struggled with door system.am okay stay

Did not appreciate having confirmation that between 2pm and 3pm was our check-in time however having to stand outside making various phone calls for over 45minutes trying to get in touch with anyone from the hotel to give us access to the property, we weren't alone either another couple were also trying to check-in.. Rang OYO (useless absolutely useless, couldn't provide us with a direct number for the hotel, gave us a couple of numbers- one wasn't in use and the other also useless. I tried making contact through the messaging service through booking.com - no reply. Eventually made contact by ringing the restaurant side of the hotel who managed to eventually sort us access, this was by someone who didn’t work for the hotel amd didn't really know what he was doing, he had to make phone calls to check which rooms we were in and he quickly checked the rooms before letting us in. There was a TV in the room but it didn’t work, kettle is in the room but you need to put it on the floor because the lead doesn't reach the plug, the shelf in the bathroom is a hazard, I'm guessing many guests have hit their head on it and thats why it was on a permanent slope. The beds had been made and looked nice but that's all, the room hadn't been cleaned. There was plastic bottles and empty packets under the single bed. The bedrooms are accessed using a mechanical push button locks. I cannot comment on the hotel staff as we never met them. We will not stay here again.

no TV in the room even when it was mentioned as part of the rooms. It was a bit smelly when we entered the staircase and the toilet needs refreshing..
