We couldn’t close the window in our room. Sleep kept getting interrupted by outside noise. The chairs in the room weren’t very comfortable.

Great location, very comfortable and clean facilities, staff were lovely & helpful.
The bathroom door was clear glass with huge gaps at the side, not the most private experience. There was an alarm going off in the hallway during one of the nights

The room was very clean and smelt lovely on arrival.
I loved the blackout roller blinds, TV size and sofa which made my stay very comfy.

I chose a room with a kitchenette as I was staying 4 nights. And although I appreciated the fridge, freezer and microwave. I had no use for the hob but would have liked access to an oven which wasn't included.
The shower in the bathroom was lovely but it tended to overflow the drains and flood the bathroom and stay flooded for several hours which made it a problem walking in and out without getting my feet and bottom of my clothes wet.
There was also only a liquid meant to be used as hand and body wash provided. No shampoo, conditioner etc which it did say was included on the website on booking. Luckily I brought my own but I did expect there to be some amenities provided.
One last thing I would like to mention is the parking. I was fine using the drop off door and then parking up in the qpark for the weekend however as I had a lot of baggage and things for the event to bring up to my room (which was on the 8th floor) I had to make several trips from my vehicle to the room.
I explained to the staff my vehicle would be parked outside for a while as I needed time to make these trips and was told I had ten minutes maximum which I thought was ridiculous as it took me atleast that amount of time for me to get up to the 8th floor with the distance from the back entrance to the lobby and how slow the lifts where getting down to the ground floor.
It took me just under an hour to get all my equipment and baggage into my room and then back into my vehicle the day I left and I think for future stays it will be the same amount of time. So this would be something I would need to consider before booking again with this hotel as I don't want to risk my vehicle being clamped or towed while I'm busy trying to get all my things inside my room/ back into my vehicle.
