Nice room, great view, kind staff , great breakfast
Excellent location with a lovely property. The mood is modern but comfortable and the staff are extremely polite and helpful. rooms are spacious and so quite well coping with the strong sunlight and 35c days! I think the value is very good for what you get. The hotel breakfast is very good and the 360 degree rotating bar/ restaurant is great at night.... Close walk to bars, restaurants and sights.

Loyal Hilton guest here — dozens of stays across Hilton properties worldwide, Hilton Honors member. This was the first stay that made me question the brand’s standards.
Booked one night at Hilton Baku before my flight later that same day — simply to get some rest. The room was located directly next to the service elevator. The noise inside the room sounded like standing inside the elevator shaft itself — all night long. Sleep was impossible.
In the morning, a hotel manager confirmed the property is aware of this issue: some guests don’t complain, others ask to switch rooms the next night. In other words, the hotel knowingly keeps selling this room with a known defect, without fixing it or warning guests at check-in.
No compensation was offered. I ended up with a sleepless night before my flight instead.
Question for Hilton Baku and Hilton Honors management: is this consistent with brand standards? If the issue is known, why is the room still being sold without disclosure? I’d appreciate a response from the hotel and compensation for this stay.
