The newly renovated room was filled with a pungent smell from the floor.

Cons:

The tram runs right outside the door, so you can feel the noise and vibrations outside your window while lying in bed. Worse still, the tram runs until 1 or 2 AM and then starts making noise again at 7 AM, making it impossible to get a full night's sleep. It's terrible. The price isn't worth it. Parking requires you to go around to another entrance and costs 10 euros.

Pros:

The hotel was okay, the restaurants close by were plentiful, a 10 minute walk to the beach and the Metro was close by. Everything was very clean. Polite staff and basic continental breakfast. Beautiful staircase in the middle, a piece of art and some comfortable seating areas if you just want to relax and read in a quiet space.

Cons:

Nothing to do with the hotel, but the street it is on is grubby and needs a clean, but once you step into the hotel it is very clean and calm.
