Pros:

Personal war sehr freundlich. Lage wirklich super. Lautstärke nachts dank guter Fenster kein Problem.

Cons:

Verdunklung nachts für meine Begriffe unzureichend. Dafür war der Frühstücksraum am Morgen um so schummriger. Da helfen auch die schönen Kerzen nicht. Wie ist das dann erst, wenn das Wetter nicht so schön ist...?

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Rhein hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten einen tollen Blick auf den Rhein.
Vor allen Dingen bei Dunkelheit. Viele bunte Lichter.
Das Personal war super nett und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist echt in die Jahre gekommen. Keinen Fahrstuhl. Wir waren im dritten Stock.
Frühstück war für uns in Ordnung. Brötchen hätten etwas frischer sein können, aber war ok.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt super, die Zimmer Richtung Rhein sind bestimmt schöner

Die Lage ist super! Nettes Personal. Gutes Bett. Klein, aber alles da was man braucht. Bahnhof nicht weit.

Cons:

Sehr laute Umgebung, Zimmer 15 ist Richtung Gasse mit einigen Kneipen. Morgens um 6 Uhr schiebt sich die Müllabfuhr durch die Gasse, andere Lkws kommen entgegen, ewige Rangierereien. Die Fenster sind gut isoliert, es war aber schnell heiß
(34 ° Außentemperatur) und stickig. Klimaanlage vorhanden, habe es nicht hinbekommen sie zu regulieren. Es wurde eiskalt.

L'ottima posizione con le finestre sul fiume (comunque silenzioso) e la colazione all'esterno in passeggiata rendono sopportabili gli aspetti negativi.

Cons:

Pulizia accettabile ma la moquette e le telerie datate rilasciano olezzo di muffa. Materasso vecchio e sfondato. Colazione minimal, dozzinale e poco assortita.

Traditional hotel accommodation in the heart of Cologne
Pros:

An old-fashioned hotel above a bar/restaurant right on the river. I checked in with the restaurant staff and was sent up the back stairs to the rooms above. While the room was small and the loo/shower was cramped and across the hall, I loved its charm, and the location was right in the centre of things, by the riverside (though my room was at the back, so quiet). Breakfast was great, a generous buffet with outside seating.

Cons:

A lot of stairs to climb which might not suit some. Electrics and decor a little aged. To me that was part of staying in a "proper" old fashioned hotel.

Cozy and welcoming

Everything was good , the location, the hotel room , and the staff . The ones on the desk were kind and helpful and the staff of the restaurant all was welcoming and hospitable . They were always there for making your stay more valuable. Special thanks to Aysel and Cem ,it was a privilege to meet them there.

Preis/Leistung gst Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und direkt am Rhein. Die Altstadt mit Kneipen und Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten und die Einkaufsmeile sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Der Kaffee hat geschmeckt, das Frühstück war ausreichend. Beim Service gab es nichts zu bemängeln und das Personal war ausnahmslos aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir haben auch das Rest Restaurant genutzt, die gewählten Speisen waren frisch und schmackhaft. die Zimmer und Bäder waren teilweise recht klein, aber sauber.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und das ein oder andere wohl renovierungsbedürftig. Lage und Personal wiegen das für uns auf jeden Fall wieder auf.

Tolle Rheinlage mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
Pros:

Tolle Lage direkt am Rheinufer - ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Rhein - toll. Frühstück ordentlich, mit der Möglichkeit, bei schönem Wetter vor dem Haus mit Blick auf den Rhein zu frühstücken. Gute Auswahl beim Frühstück, manches hätte etwas frischer/heißer sein können. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Das Bad im Giebel war winzig, Duschen daher etwas beengt. Aber durch die Lage im Spitzdach schöne Sicht über den Rhein.

Eine Nacht OK. Mittendrin.

Die Lage ist Top. Mittendrin statt nur dabei.

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist ein Witz. Wer ein richtiges „kölsches“ Frühstück erwartet wird enttäuscht. Auch der Kaffe geht nicht. Aber für die eine Nacht und natürlich wegen der Lage alles gut.
