Hotel integrated in the Train Station
Pros:

We chose this hotel because it was near the train station, more like integrated into the train station and we planned some day trips with the train and this really helped.

Hotel has double sets of windows, there is no outside noise and we also didn't hear too much the neighbors from our floor.

In the hallway there was a small kids area with a puppet theatre which our kid enjoyed each day.

The breakfast was good but small, not many varieties considering this is a 7-8 stories hotel. It was really busy around the two tables with the buffet especially during the weekend.
We didn't go that early, but breakfast was available from 6 am which is a plus for travellers catching a train.

In the last day, we left our luggage at the hotel and came back in the afternoon, everything went smoothly.

Rhone Express has the final stop right in front of the hotel, it leaves every 15 minutes, so usually it is a hassle-free transfer to the airport, travel time is 30 minutes.
When we arrived, because of the manifestations, Rhone Express didn't go until the train station and the last stop was at the outskirts of the city, metro or other tram didn't work, so it made the transfer really hard for us.

Cons:

We were 2 adults and one 6 years old kid and the room was quite small and basic, lacking some basic things like there was no wardrobe just some hangers.

Air conditioning was not working on heat, so I cannot imagine how will the room be heated during really cold days, as it already felt chilly in the room and no way to increase that very old system.

The second small bed had a topper on it which was too soft and it just slipped from the bed.
It was really uncomfortable and us the adults took turns to sleep on it.

Honestly we chose Ibis Styles over Ibis Budget which is next door, but didn't feel the extra that we paid for.

Enttäuschend!
Pros:

Die Nähe zum Bhf war ein wichtiges Kriterium für meine Wahl, weil ich sehr früh zum Zug musste. Dafür war es optimal. Sonst gab es in meinen Augen wenig positives....

Cons:

Ich fand es sehr unkomfortabel- kaum Ablagen ( vor allem im Bad), kein Föhn und das Frühstück war ok, aber nicht toll und sehr lieblos und ungemütlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte überhaupt nicht.
