this resort is probably one of the most relaxed resorts we have been too. Not overcrowded, and all staff were very pleasant and accommodating at all times. The layout of the resort and the accommodation was perfect for our family holiday. The main pool is so perfect for children. We loved it

I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at four Seasons Villa Mora and can confidently say it sets the gold standard for hospitality. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the level of service, which was outstanding across every single department.Front Desk & ConciergeThe moment we arrived, the reception staff provided a warm, personalized greeting that set the tone for the entire trip. They handled our check-in seamlessly, even though we had arrived a week late anticipating that there was no rooms for us as i had messed up the booking . They went out they way to sort out my mistake and organised a room for the rest of our holiday. The concierge team went above and beyond, securing difficult reservations at top local restaurants and providing tailored, off-the-beaten-path recommendations.HousekeepingThe housekeeping department deserves massive praise. Our room was not only impeccably clean and perfectly organized upon arrival, but the daily service was incredibly discreet and thorough. They even noticed we used extra towels and preemptively stocked them, alongside leaving a thoughtful handwritten note and complimentary bottled water.Dining & Room ServiceEvery meal we had was an absolute delight. The restaurant staff were attentive, engaging, and knowledgeable about the menu. Whether we were enjoying the expansive breakfast buffet, grabbing a quick bite by the pool, or ordering late-night room service, the team's professionalism and willingness to accommodate dietary requests never wavered.Management & CultureIt is clear that the management fosters a culture where every employee takes genuine pride in their work. We have now been coming here for 31 years and the standards have never dropped. The resort is always well presented and the apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We love the peace in the evenings and you never have a problem getting a lounger. The heart and soul of the place is the staff. Breakfast is our favourite, with everything you need including a fantastic omelet which has been prepared for us every year by the same member of staff. We are greeted every morning by Emily and Punan who feel like old friends and work extremely hard. There is always a warm welcome in reception from Ana Marie and Josias, and it was lovely to meet a newcomer Paul who complimented the team well. The cleanliness in the apartments never falters and the cleaners are very accommodating. We know the area well now and the location is excellent for accessing all amenities. The resort has great general rules which ensure the noise level is kept to a minimum and this all helps to keep the resort to its exceptional standard. If you try visiting Four Seasons Villamoura, you will definitely not be disappointed.

We had a fantastic stay at Four Seasons Vilamoura and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Before we arrived, I contacted the hotel to ask if an early check-in might be possible as we had an early flight. They explained that the apartment was still occupied but would do their best to accommodate us. When we arrived, they gave us pool towels and pointed us to the changing rooms so we could get changed and enjoy the pool while we waited. About an hour later, they messaged me on WhatsApp to say our apartment was ready, meaning we checked in around four hours earlier than the normal check-in time. It was a great start to our holiday.

We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, which was very spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It was well equipped, even including dishwasher tablets and washing machine detergent, which was a thoughtful touch.

There were lots of little extras that made our stay special, such as complimentary ice-cold flannels and fresh fruit skewers handed out around the pool during the day. The pool bar offered a good selection of drinks and snacks, all at very reasonable prices.

Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. The whole hotel was immaculately clean and very well maintained.

We are a family of four with two teenage children, and we never had any trouble finding four sun loungers together, regardless of what time we went to the pool. That was a huge bonus during the busy summer season.

The marina was about a 15-minute walk away on a straightforward route. Because it was so hot, we often got an Uber there for around €5, then enjoyed walking back in the cooler evenings.

The breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice, and on a few occasions we had lunch at the hotel, which was delicious and excellent value for money.

Overall, we had a wonderful holiday. The excellent service, spotless facilities, thoughtful touches and relaxed atmosphere really made this hotel stand out. I would highly recommend Four Seasons Vilamoura and would happily stay here again.

As you enter via the front gate you are drawn instantly to the cleanliness and perfectly maintained grounds. You are given a warm welcome by the staff (it’s unfortunate that there has been such a turnaround of staff in such a relatively short time. There is something reassuring about seeing familiar faces) who efficiently and effectively register your stay and arrange the transfer of your luggage to your apartment.
The apartment is always spotless and equally welcoming. The servicing of the apartment is frequent and efficient. I would say that the kitchen and bathrooms are looking a little tired as are some of the appliances. The furnishings are very comfortable and look modern and uplifting compared to the previous style.
The restaurant and bar seemed more popular this year. The quality of the food was generally good.
The recently refurbished pools and bathing areas are a great improvement and lift the ambience of the whole area.
All in all Four Seasons Vilamoura continues to be a lovely place to visit and enjoy the experience .

Really helpful staff

Great hotel, 2 bed apartment was fabulous. The hotel staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. We all had the best holiday and are planning to stay again in October!

We really enjoyed our stay as always.
The new pool area is great but would like to see sunbed “blocking” better managed.
All the staff we came into contact with were friendly and very helpful.
We hope to see you all again soon!

FSV has always been a great place to visit, either with grandchildren or just adults. The apartments and grounds are maintained to an excellent standard. My only criticism over the last few years would be the food options/menu's are becoming quite limited, to which end I feel that members and guests alike are spending more time and money elsewhere to Four Seasons detriment.

Another wonderful stay at the Four Seasons in Old Village, Vilamoura. The Apartments and public areas are always clean and beautifully maintained and the staff as friendly and helpful as ever. Our 2 bedroom apartment gave us all the space we needed for 4 adults and a young baby. The bars and restaurants are excellent and although prices have risen in recent years are still reasonably priced. We will return again.

A great result achieved on the external pool - and other - workd. Very professional.
Following our stay , I have 4 comments / ‘ gripes ‘ .
1. Our lift - for apt.64 - was not working for our week , and I believe at lease the previous week . Not good - particularly for someone whi is in any physically challenged.
2. Broadband reception was / is very poor . Best i could achieve was 50mbs - in a world where 500 mbps is now the norm
3. The TV in our lounge would have been better placed in a museum.
4. The TV which should have been in the main bedroom had been removed.
Overall - staff very good , pleasant and accommodating - particularly Reception. Four S. V. Is still one of our favourite places to visit .

We've been coming here for over 30 years, always a warm welcome! Lovely apartment and great location.

Myself and 3 friends visited for 2 nights and would highly recommend the hotel.

We had 2x 2 bed Villas and whilst a little dated, were very large and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean.

The hotel was about a 25 min walk from the marina but only €5 in an uber.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful week of sun and fun at Four Seasons Vilamoura. The staff could not do enough for us and the facilities were all as expected and advertised. This year the gardens have had an overhaul and look lovely. The housekeeping kept the apartment clean and the pool attendants even brought us cold flannels twice a day, with fruit sticks and a smoothy. Roll-on next year.
