Pros:

Swimming pool was nice and big but didn't actually go in as it was too cold

Cons:

No heated pool, no room service, bed too hard made sleep uncomfortable, food was expensive and not impressive and gave me some slight food poisoning, no tea/coffee/water provided in the room.

Delightful
Pros:

The outside pool area was lovely and clean. Breakfast was fine but missing sausages :-) which you had to pay for. Otherwise, no complaints at all. Service was good, the staff were very helpful and happy.

Cons:

Apart from not having sausages for breakfast, I can't say there was anything I didn't like. The food was tasty and plentiful. The freshly cooked omelettes were a delight. Still all positive.

May 2026 visit
Pros:

It was exceptionally clean. Well supplied apartment, kitchen utensils, additional bedding, towels etc. The pool we'll lovely but chilly in May. The indoor pool was set to approx 26 degrees which was great. We ate an evening meal in the restaurant, i had the salmon, which was one of the best I have had. Breakfast was a buffet which you could eat inside or outside. Cooked and cold cuts. Cereal, fruit, pastries and omlettes made to order. Really nice filter coffee

Very spacious apartment.

Cons:

Outdoors parking; limited dinner menu in restaurant, tasty food but small quantity;
sauna is cold, you need to start it yourself, no assistance from staff: spa-sauna close at 18h00

Really enjoyed our stay, the apartment was a great size and loved the pools and nextdoor golf course
Pros:

All the staff including waiters, bar staff, porters and reception staff were all very helpful and friendly.
The Breakfast buffet was excellent - the right amount of choice and quality.
The Hotel is really beautifully landscaped - we really enjoyed the gardens and layout with the central pools.
The pools themselves were nice - there was a kids one, more adult one and the indoor one for when the weather was not so good.
To have Pinhal golf course within 2 mins walk was so convenient too.

Cons:

The quality of the food at dinner was inconsistent - some of the meals on the al a carte were very poor (particularly the Italian Night), others were very good. They should do the buffet dinner much more.

The property is beautiful, calm, and perfect for families. The atmosphere is relaxing, and there are plenty of activities planned throughout the week for both kids and parents, which keeps everyone engaged.

The food was excellent, with a wide variety of options. While the cuisine leans more toward American-style dishes, the quality is great, and they are very accommodating with dietary needs and allergies if you inform them in advance. You also have the option to book breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which makes the stay even more convenient—no need to worry about cooking at all.

We were able to enjoy most of the facilities, including the indoor heated pool, which was especially nice. The spa treatment we tried was also very good and added to the relaxing experience.

One of the highlights of our stay was the staff. They were incredibly kind, supportive, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. The housekeeping team was also very friendly and attentive.

We traveled with our 7-month-old baby, and the entire experience was very comfortable and family-friendly. We also had the chance to meet some lovely people during our stay, which made it even more enjoyable.

Overall, I would rate this place a 9/10 and would highly recommend it, especially for families with young children.

Too many promises for an average stay
Pros:

Great size apartments with everything you can want for a family

Cons:

The promises are not respected: arcade room is rubbish, the pool table is actually a snooker table you have no access to, no tv vlose to the bar so good luck for the world cup. For the usual standards of Four Seasons this is actually crap
