Lovely hotel in a peaceful location with helpful staff and wonderful food.
Pros:

Beautiful peaceful location. The hotel is a mix of modern and eclectic. Our room was large and warm with a modern bathroom. The meals were excellent and portions large. We rarely eat sweets but we demolished the perfectly cooked and beautifully presented chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream and a whisky sauce. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would return.

Short but sweet stay

Cons:

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. I would have liked to have stayed in the area longer so I suppose if the cost were lower I most definately would have. I had a wonderful time exploring the landscape, eating an evening at the one restaurant in Achiltibuie, meeting folk from the area and learning about the history.

Charmantes kleines Hotel
Pros:

Tolles charmantes Hotel. Alle waren sehr freundlich. Das Essen war fantastisch. Zimmer geschmackvoll und modernes Bad. Gute Möglichkeiten mit dem Hund spazieren zu gehen. Sehr gute Live Musik einmal die Woche ( Donnerstag). Unser Hund wurde mit Leckerli und Streicheln verwöhnt. Mika gibt 5 Pfoten.

The food was the star of this show.
Pros:

Accomodation: they say they're improving the rooms and they've started with the bathroom...that shower is amazing! The private sitting room is a tired, wooden conservatory, so I'd maybe do that next.
Food: the food here is exceptional! Even my husband, who is a retired chef, was impressed.
Staff: Katie went out of her way to look after us.

Cons:

Not a fan of dogs having access all areas.

Charming hotel
Pros:

The hotel staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, the bedroom we had was large with a comfortable bed and the location excellent. The views are lovely; the hotel is south facing so nice and bright. The restaurant was very good and our evening featured local muscians who were superb making for a special evening. I must add our dog was made to feel exceptionally welcome. There's plenty of parking and the hotel is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the nearby town of Aberfeldy. Finally the breakfast was superb and the best smoked haddock and eggs we've had. Overall we had a great experience at this hotel.

Cons:

I think the owners are in the process of freshing up the hotel but there's still work to be done. Some of the decor is rather dated and tired. This is an observation not a problem.
