Solid hotel, would recommend for value!
Pros:

Solid place to stay in Melaka! I had a basic room, but the amenities were all suitable and matched my expectations. The air conditioner worked well and the wifi as just fine. The staff was helpful and nice. Location-wise, it's a short walk to the old town area and this was actually quite nice, especially in the evenings along the river.

Cons:

The bathroom was a little cramped around the toilet -- maybe a larger/taller person would have struggled with that. The bathroom floor also gets wet because there's no divider between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, but from what I could tell this is pretty standard for hotels. I didn't mind it, since it was hot enough that it dried quickly.

Ample Parking Space
Pros:

Spacious room, within walking distance to Bandar Hilir. Most importantly, Hallmark Express has ample parking space (behind hotel bldg)
