From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. All bookings are subjected to a MYR 3 Heritage Charge per room per day. This is to be paid directly to the hotel.

Overall good stay, will be back again
Pros:

It's location, friendly staffs, clean well maintained spacious room and brightly lit car park.

Cons:

There's an area outside the hotel as you walked to the car park...seems unappealing with chairs laying around. Some tidying up can help and perhaps decorate it

Pros:

The hotel has a good location and the building is nice. It is close to many places in George Town, which makes it convenient for walking around and exploring the area. Customer service is excellent.

Pros:

Located outside the historic centre it was an easy walk to lots of restaurants and cafes and all the sites we wanted to see.
Filtered drinking water available 24/7 in the corridor was appreciated.
Good size room and comfortable bed.

Cons:

The entire building smelt a bit damp upon each entrance.
