I had such a wonderful birthday week at Kloofzicht!
Pros:

The service, views, and food were the highlights of my stay. The team was incredibly responsive when I emailed to plan my itinerary, and everyone was polite and happy to explain things in detail. What really topped it off was my birthday dinner request; they not only met my expectations, they exceeded them and made me feel so special that I even forgot I was spending my birthday alone. The place is absolutely beautiful and tucked away in a secluded area. I took so many pictures and videos, and my mind was truly at peace the whole time. The food was absolutely amazing. I never thought I would enjoy salad in my life until I had one from Kloofzicht. Whenever you eat at their restaurants, make sure you never skip the starters, they are the best. When it comes to plating and presentation, they are exceptional. The spa was magical and so relaxing that I think I even fell asleep halfway through my massage. I went for the birthday package which included lunch, wine, and a complimentary birthday cake, and I enjoyed every bit of it. I loved everything about this place, it's definitely worth another visit. Overall experience: 1000/10. I will 100% be back.

Pros:

What I loved most about Kloofzicht was the beautiful natural surroundings, breathtaking views and peaceful atmosphere. It's the perfect place to escape the busyness of everyday life and simply unwind. We enjoyed an overnight stay, followed by a lovely buffet breakfast the next morning. The tranquil setting and beautiful scenery made the experience feel like a little getaway, without having to travel too far from home.

Pros:

The location is quite exclusive and yet easy to access, the mountain and pond view from the King room is beautiful. The views on the property are all around scenic.

Cons:

The toilet ceiling had a bit of mould. The bath water took a while to heat up.

The ambiance and the place in general

Cons:

The room in general was faulty.
It creeked, there were planks that were literally loose we stepped on a few loose planks. The rail fell on us day 1 when we arrived. Basin plug doesn't work. Bathroom blinds once open they dont close. We had to constantly call reception to help or fix something. Fire place etc
