A first class welcome in a well located chateau full of character.
Pros:

Location, ambience and service are first class. Nicolas is an excellent proprietor. Nothing is too much trouble it seems

Cons:

All is good. If it had a mini gym and a pool it would be perfect.

Excellent place to get away from the world or for easy access to st Malo - whatever your needs.
Pros:

Loved the history of the building and the peacefulness. Lovely to experience the private chapel. Managed/Staff exceptional and very attentive.
Great selection for breakfast. Make sure you book for dinner as unfortunately we were too slow to request.
We will be back without doubt!

Convenient and comfortable stay in an interesting property.
Pros:

Reasonably close to the Saint-Malo ferry terminal - about 10 minutes by car. Very secluded and quiet, if a bit difficult to find in the dark. Breakfast was 19 euros but was great; excellent quality and a great choice of hot and cold items.
Room was a bit strange as it had obviously been a dressing room in some dark and distant past, but was more than adequate with a fridge and complementary drinks and snacks. Bathroom was good although the bath/shower would have been hard to get in or out for anyone with limited mobility. Bed a bit on the hard side but enjoyed a good night sleep. With a room on the 2nd floor, we appreciated the lift in such an old property.

Pros:

What an amazing hotel located in a 350 year old chateau with amazing history. The manager Nicolas, the reception manager Sebastian and all the staff were amazing and extremely useful in providing ideas for our visit to St Malo and arranging transportation for us. Our dinner was exceptional - high quality and delicious. The breakfasts were also a feast, and Nicolas's wife who manages the kitchen, doe an excellent job. The hotel is in peaceful, beautiful surroundings and only 15 minutes away from St Malo's old walled city.

Exceptional chateau and food/wine experience
Pros:

Rooms was comfortable, quiet and spacious. Bath was lovely and we slept very well. The French-Cambodian cuisine was exceptional, along with the wine and cheese. Wonderful buffet breakfast with perfect selection of cheese, meats, hot food, pastries, fruit, juices etc. The staff were extremely friendly and very proud of their chateau and region. Great place for day trips to Mont St Michel, Cancale, Dinan and St Malo. We look forward to staying again soon.
