We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Chunda Palace Udaipur. The hotel has a beautiful royal ambience, and the overall experience was truly special. From the stunning architecture and traditional Rajasthani feel to the hospitality and service, everything was excellent.

The entire staff was extremely courteous, polite, helpful, and welcoming. Their attention to detail and warm behaviour made us feel genuinely comfortable throughout our stay.

A special appreciation to the entire Chunda Palace team for their outstanding hospitality and for making our stay so pleasant and memorable. Everyone was always ready to help with a smile and made us feel like honoured guests.

The royal atmosphere of the palace, combined with the excellent service, gives you a truly authentic Udaipur experience. It is a beautiful place to stay if you want to experience the charm, culture, and hospitality of Rajasthan.

This should be the top priority for anyone visiting Udaipur. It’s way above what they are showing in their pictures. The hospitality is something that is unmatchable here. They will make sure that you feel special. And the rooms are crazy. Nothing is near to it even in Jaipur.

It’s very tough to answer. Because I like everything. They even have 2pools. Like indoor and outdoor for all times

Very very pretty, at a pretty good spot, the views from the rooftop were great and the hotel was beautifully decorated. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. The room was beautiful and the design is breathtaking. The breakfast and in-hotel restaurant was good enough.

Cons:

Main issue I had was the water pressure in the shower, the head shower basically didn’t work. They did offer to switch out the rooms but we were already settled in and this is the kind of thing that should grt taken care of before the guests arrive. Also the doorbell didn’t work, which, again, feels like something that should be fixed before the room is made available to the guests.

The best part of our Rajasthan journey was our time at the Chunda Palace
Pros:

The property itself is a beautiful heritage property. Very comfortable rooms. The staff is the best thing about a stay at the hotel. They are all very professional and accommodating . I reckon the restaurant has one of the best views in the area.

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed the overall experience
Pros:

The location is excellent, and the breakfast, candlelight dinner, and hospitality were outstanding.

One of the best highlights was the Rajasthani live music, which added a beautiful royal touch to our experience—whether during our entry into the palace, breakfast, or dinner. It made the stay feel truly special and memorable.

The cleanliness and housekeeping were also excellent and very well managed by Floor Manager Mahesh and Supervisor Chaman. Their attention to detail and hospitality were greatly appreciated.

A special thank you to the entire team for making our stay so comfortable and for giving us and our baby such a wonderful experience. We will definitely cherish these memories! ❤️

I had a memorable stay at Chunda Palace in the Royal Imperial Suite, which was absolutely massive. The interiors were mesmerising, with beautiful traditional details that made the room feel truly special. I enjoyed the suite so much that spending time in the room became one of the highlights of my stay. The staff were consistently courteous, welcoming and helpful.

The hotel itself is wonderful to explore, with the atmosphere and character of a genuine palace. Its location was perfect for me—far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel peaceful, yet close enough to make travelling to Udaipur’s main sightseeing attractions convenient. The pool looked beautiful, although unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to use it.

The rooftop restaurant was outstanding. The food was delicious, and the views were absolutely breathtaking, particularly with Udaipur spread out below.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The spectacular suite, remarkable interiors, excellent rooftop restaurant, courteous staff and convenient location made Chunda Palace a distinctive and unforgettable Udaipur experience.

Cons:

Breakfast, however, was only average; although there were options available, the overall taste and quality could be improved.

There were a few practical issues in the suite. The marble bath area occasionally felt slippery and would benefit from a non-slip mat. The air conditioning also lacked precise temperature control, so the room tended to feel either too warm or too cold. The traditional doors and authentic lock-and-key system were undeniably beautiful and added to the palace experience, but manually securing the bolts and pushing the heavy doors could become cumbersome. A discreet digital-key option would make access considerably easier without compromising the hotel’s heritage charm.
