Pros:

I had a memorable stay at Chunda Palace in the Royal Imperial Suite, which was absolutely massive. The interiors were mesmerising, with beautiful traditional details that made the room feel truly special. I enjoyed the suite so much that spending time in the room became one of the highlights of my stay. The staff were consistently courteous, welcoming and helpful.

The hotel itself is wonderful to explore, with the atmosphere and character of a genuine palace. Its location was perfect for me—far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel peaceful, yet close enough to make travelling to Udaipur’s main sightseeing attractions convenient. The pool looked beautiful, although unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to use it.

The rooftop restaurant was outstanding. The food was delicious, and the views were absolutely breathtaking, particularly with Udaipur spread out below.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The spectacular suite, remarkable interiors, excellent rooftop restaurant, courteous staff and convenient location made Chunda Palace a distinctive and unforgettable Udaipur experience.

Cons:

Breakfast, however, was only average; although there were options available, the overall taste and quality could be improved.

There were a few practical issues in the suite. The marble bath area occasionally felt slippery and would benefit from a non-slip mat. The air conditioning also lacked precise temperature control, so the room tended to feel either too warm or too cold. The traditional doors and authentic lock-and-key system were undeniably beautiful and added to the palace experience, but manually securing the bolts and pushing the heavy doors could become cumbersome. A discreet digital-key option would make access considerably easier without compromising the hotel’s heritage charm.

Pros:

Magnifique palace entièrement décoré, service au top, superbe piscine, terrasse avec vue sur le lac, au calme et entouré de végétation. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour, très reposant.

Pros:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the palace. The staff was exceptionally courteous, and the service was outstanding. Waking up to breathtaking scenic views and a delicious breakfast made every morning special. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and cozy, making us feel right at home.

Cons:

There was nothing in particular that stood out as a concern. The overall experience was excellent, and we were very satisfied with our stay.

Slapen als een koning. De service is naar Europese normen ongelofelijk net als op vele andere plaatsen in India. Special thanks to Chunni Lal at the breakfast and the girl (from Calcutta) at dinner.

Pros:

Une jolie chambre avec fresques et baldaquin. Sdb en marbre. Petit déjeuner choix important. Service très bon.

Cons:

Pas d insonorisation avec la salle de sport voisine et nous sommes réveillés a 7h30 par des sportifs qui l'évent les fontes bruyamment avec musique.

Pros:

Very good royal feel ..rooms excellent..high ceiling and very intricately decorated.

Cons:

The rooms did not have a good view at all..we were facing the parking lot which was more of a dumping ground. May be the option should be available to book room with a good view
