Room very clean, liked that window was open on arrival
Bar area and restaurant menu could do with improving - limited choice, tired furniture
Ambientazione magnifica, quasi come soggiornare nei castelli.
Ordine e pulizia. Personale molto disponibile e gentile.
a beautiful property hidden away, but close enough to amenities. the hotel gave old manor house feels, whilst still being modern, clean and comfy.
we stayed during the heatwave and there’s no A/C, but the hotel did provide fans in the room
Everything
Le cadre est magnifique et l'histoire liée à l'endroit est un vrai plus.
Les avions sont très présents (proximité de l'aéroport. Dans le jardin on entend très fort la voie rapide
Everything was truly special
When the kitchen was closed for a time for an event perhaps a nite through the door would have helped
We liked the historic building and grounds. The breakfast was good with lots of variety.
Dinner menu had a good choice and food was good.
It was disappointing that the lift was only available for wheelchair guests staying on 1st level when they have several sets of winding stairs to the rooms on the upper floors. There is no one to help an older person with luggage. The lift would be perfect to just pop the luggage in and send it up. Not even sure if the lift was operational.
There seemed to be a distinct lack of interest at Reception which was disappointing because it's such a grand manor and looks promising for a great stay.
Staff at reception and the bar were a little slow to serve guests - not just us - but all guests. Perhaps they were short staffed during our stay. Or do they multitask in different areas??
Everything was spot on the food, staff and the facilities
We stayed in Room 801 and the bathroom fan was noisy and running all night which kept me awake the only way to stop it running was to remove your card from the socket and switch off all power, this was not an option during the night because you needed a light to find the bathroom we suffered the inconvenience because we were only there 2 nights and I did mention this to reception and they couldn’t do anything about it apart from changing rooms.
Nice grounds
Nice room but -------- See below
.Booked a Superior room. Room very nice but the jacuzzi didn't work - no water . Tap didn't seem to be connected - so the expectation of using it just before bed resulted in disappointment. A shower had to do .
.Reported this the following morning .Simply told that it would be reported
. Pity a rubbish skip and what looked like building rubbish in full view only meters from the balcony
Beautiful room in the courtyard, comfy bed, delightful surroundings
A bit expensive but nice
Really convenient for our journey, close to motorway and with good public transport links. Plenty of parking and a comfortable, clean room.
There was work going on outside our room so our window was blocked off by curtaining.
No Air conditioning in peak heat
Beautiful venue.
The staff at the reception make you feel like you’re just bothering them every time I went over for directions they just were sighing and puffing almost rolling their eyes..
The room I was allocated was also not very modern.
Nous y sommes retournés avec plaisir ( séjour en 2025) beaucoup de charme ,gentillesse du personnel . une chambre atypique et un petit déjeuner copieux.
