Pros:

Cons:
You have to get a taxi anywhere as the hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere
No childrens entertainment during day or at night
Room facilities very limited (no kettle etc)
The indoor aqua park was closed, which was advertised as open all year - but the outdoor park the water was freezing, far too cold for our 1.5 year old so we ended up we just didn’t go. (Even though this is why we booked the hotel)

Overall if your children are 3+ it’s a nice hotel, with nice food and an awesome waterpark (permitting its warm enough for outdoors!) but just be aware there is literally nothing around it, no shops, no restaurants, nothing. Next time we would perhaps stay in Vilamoura or Albufeira.

We had the pleasure of staying here on 1st of May for a week. The hotel is a bit out of the way which suited me as the atmosphere there was really nice. To travel anywhere the Ubers were not expensive . Hotel was spotless and the rooms were cleaned daily . Having breakfast and dinner included took the guesswork out of planning meals and the food was good with many options. We are definitely looking forward to going back. Thankyou to the lady that checked us in she was very helpful. A BIG THANKYOU to Cristiano for going out of his way to make us feel welcome ...and making all those gorgeous cocktails 😋

We had a wonderful stay at Aquashow Park Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. A special thank you to the cleaning staff for keeping everything spotless and comfortable throughout our stay, and to the receptionists for their warm welcome and excellent service. From check-in to check-out, the whole experience was fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Algarve area!

Really nice hotel with a lot to do and great for kids. Staff really friendly and nice and they do a great job.

Hotel is a little out of the way so you may consider car hire.

Food could have been better but was decent enough, one thing to note though is there was no drinks included with your evening meal which considering is paid for with half board there should reallly be 1 drink included per person.

The waterpark is great and would highly recommend. But just to note there was no lifeguard in the hotel pool which I had hoped there would be, I know it’s up to parents to watch their kids but personally I think every hotel should have a lifeguard.

Hotel is spotless and cleaners do a great job and all staff are a credit to this hotel. Thanks, hope to return soon

We had a pleasure to stay in this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by a delightful interior design of a hotel. Lobby, bar area are modern and tastefully decorated. Service was nice, breakfast bar was nice and fresh with lots of variety. Dinners were tasty, we tried buffet and à la cart, both highly rated. Kids enjoyed indoor Aqua park and it was primary reason we came from Spain as we don’t have this kind of indoor Aqua parks in the area. Overall, great and we would recommend.

We had an excellent experience staying in the the hotel. The cleanliness atmosphere were absolutely perfect. Food and dining also exceeded our expectation. Most importantly the value for price is what stood out for us.

This was amazing! It was so much better than even expected. While one adult stayed with our daughter, the others could visit the adults only area which was so perfect! There were many activities out of the water for kids too. The activities were put on by the very friendly staff. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. The best! The room was just right for us. Everything was clean at the hotel and the indoor water park.

The best hotel in algarve and portugal i like it so much the people there is very nice and respectful thank you for evrything

So we came here as a family of 5
Kids ages 4 9 & 15
Transfer to hotel was quick
Check in quick we had a connecting room 2 single beds in 1 a double bed and a sofa bed in another.
We went Half board bear in mind we came at the end of season and there was still a great variety at breakfast & dinner.
Kids options- pizza nuggets burger pasta bolognese, all fruits always.
Tea coffe milkshakes water orange apple and mango juice available with breakfast.
Menu in the hotel for lunch was also really good loads of options and not pricey. We spend around 40-60 each day that was obviously drinks lunch snacks through the day before dinner.
Indoor water park- what a hit all 3 of my kids had the best time and the photographer comes around and takes the most perfect photos we bought a few and to be honest the prices were fine.
Outside pool & indoor pool absolutely great seating area close to them and the baby pool / park area also close to the indoor play centre so if you was relaxing at the table you could watch all your children play it was honestly a great little area. We have been to many hotels and we are use to the big massive hotels with loads of grounds around and very hectic but this was an absolute dream it was so relaxing but also all my children had the best time and were never bored.
Cocktails are 10/10 all the food we had was good I can’t complain.
The staff.. well what can I say they really did make our stay and my children loved them I will add some names, these members of staff went above and beyond to ensure my family were happy and enjoying every moment -
Andrea , Cristiano, alexes, Hugo, iuri, Teddy & horacio, Big thank you to all of them for always being so great helpful and fun for my children.
No negatives to write about out family holiday here we will most definitely be back to make more memories.

Have stayed here before, and will definitely come again. it’s a really lovely hotel, fabulous staff, very clean, nice rooms. Breakfast is included in price and there’s a good variety of food and plenty of it.
