Genoten van Düsseldorf in optima forma.
Pros:

De locatie van dit hotel is geweldig. In 2 minuten loop je in het park en binnen 5 minuten zit je midden in het shopping center.

Cons:

De kamer was klein maar wel schoon en prima bedden.

Pros:

Das Hotel liegt zentral und ruhig, Betten sind bequem und das Servicepersonal ist unglaublich freundlich. Wir haben das Frühstück dazugebucht und es ist ist zu empfehlen.

Cons:

Es könnten ein paar Schönheitsreparaturen vorgenommen werden und die Sauberkeit hat Optimierungsbedarf. Obwohl es ein großes TV Gerät im Zimmer gab, habe ich nur ein paar Sender einstellen können, also habe ich es dann ganz gelassen - was im Grunde auch besser so ist: 😊

Ideal small hotel for a short break
Pros:

I booked very late and was happy to get a really nice room on the top floor with views over the rooftops. Location ideal, 15 mins walk to the old town. Very quiet area. Just a shame no bars or restaurants/shops in the immediate area as is residential. Enjoyed my stay and would return.

Zweckmäßiges Hotel in guter Lage zu attraktivem Preis
Pros:

Freundliches Personal, gute Lage in Düsseldorfer Innenstadt am Hofgarten, man kann von dort alles gut zu Fuß oder mit dem ÖPNV machen. Insgesamt ansprechend, weil auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gut war

Zimmer und Bad waren doch sehr eng

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt schon wegen der Nähe zum Hofgarten und zur Altstadt zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Sehr gutes Frühstück, nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, Zimmergröße ausreichend

Cons:

Die verdunkelten Fenster sind, ob wegen Sicht- oder Hitzeschutz, sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, da das Zimmer dementsprechend dunkel ist. Die Einstiegshöhe des Boxspringbettes ist zu hoch und die Matratzen sind für uns zu weich.

It was really dirty.
Pros:

Location is OK.

Cons:

First of all, the room was completely dirty. Pillows were stained with reddish spots, we found hair on the bed and inside the bathroom, and there was black mold growing near the shower cabin. Walls were also stained black.

Secondly, when we asked for our money back, reception staff told us they wouldn't be able to refund us because we paid through Booking. Initially it was also implied that the situation was our fault because we had spent 45 mins in the room before coming down to complain. Basically a bunch if blame shifting in my opinion.

So there we were, without a hotel room during the busiest week of the year for hotels in the Ruhr area (Gamescom), and unsure if we would be receiving our money back.

In the end, Booking support came through for us but this experience has definitely left a sour taste in my mouth.

I would not recommend this hotel unless you're open to getting scammed. It looks nothing like in the pics. My advice is to stay away.
