Location is perfect for gigs and actually being in North Bay. Brian , Costas and Tracy are the real gems. They’re so welcoming and make such a difference to your stay.

Staff were friendly, helpful and professional.
The king room was lovely, sea view, great big comfy bed.
Carpet was a little flat and worn.
Tv was a little small
However, nothing that really bothered us.

I liked the fact the owners were genuinely interested in the guests they had staying, plus the rooms are great and very very clean. I would 100% stay again.

Brian was very friendly and it felt as though we had known him a long time but only met him that once.

I would 100% recommend staying at the Norlands and I will most definitely be re booking next year when I travel back to Scarborough.

I can honestly say I have never had a more genuine warm welcome anywhere from the minute you meet them it's obvious Brian & Costa truly love what they do & care about there visitor's...they actually went to the local supermarket to purchase items that visitor's had forgot
It was our first time here but it definitely won't be our last, most of the people we spoke to in the bar were regular visitor's & i totally get that once you've stayed with Brian & Costa you won't want to stay anywhere else
We stayed in room to which was immaculately clean & the bed was soooo comfy i had the best 2 nights sleep i have had in months
If you're coming for the SCOT or Alpamare you are literally 5 minutes walk away from both

Excellent hotel near to the North Bay. We picked this hotel a it was close to the Open Air Theatre in Scarborough.
The hosts Brian and Costa are very welcoming. As I use a walking stick, they changed our room so that I did not have to climb to many stairs.
The hotel reception area and bar where immaculate. Our room was also immaculate. Brian showed us around, making sure all was to our satisfaction.
We preordered breakfast and opted for a cooked meal. There was plenty of choices at the breakfast bar, with hot and cold drinks.
We cannot fault any the hosts or any of the services offered.
Location - a stone’s throw from Open Air Theatre - and warm welcome. Comfy beds, very clean and excellent breakfast.
Small single room cost more than many 4* London hotels … I’m assuming (hoping) the exorbitant price hike was due to the concert I was attending. Still felt a bit opportunistic … definitely not value for money. But they say it’s all about Location, Location - and you couldn’t get closer to the venue, so that’s what I was paying for in the end.
This hotel is in a great location, very clean, great food and Brian and Costas and currently Tracy too are just fabulous, so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, we will definitely return.

A very short walk from Peasholm park and the OAT.
