The location was ideal for exploring Newquay on foot. The beach, bars and restaurants were all within approximately a 10-minute walk. There was also a convenient local Spar on the corner, with Sainsbury’s only about five minutes away.
The room felt far too cramped for four adults, all aged over 60, and we felt that more suitable alternative accommodation could have been offered. Parking was extremely limited, and we were concerned that if we moved the car, we might not find a space again. As a result, we left the car parked and explored the local area on foot.
The sea view from our window was very restricted. The advertised shortcut to the beach was not accessible because the path beyond the property was overgrown. No breakfast was available on site, and overall, the accommodation did not fully match the description or expectations created by the website. Given these issues, we remain undecided as to whether the stay represented good value for money.
The host Andrew was very accommodating we had everything we required . The apartment was spotlessly clean close to the beach and town centre and supermarket.
The soundproofing wasn’t fully effective.

The view from the window was brilliant. The sunset was absolutely incredible. The receptionist was very friendly; we’re truly grateful for their help.
It was a triple room, but there were just the two of us. The room felt a bit cramped even for two people. The shower and toilet were small.
Everything in the hotel was rather run-down. The floor creaked and the beds wobbled. My mattress had a bulge right down the middle. I’d get out of bed feeling as if I’d been beaten up.
There was no soundproofing whatsoever. We stayed at the hotel for a few nights. We couldn’t sleep because, almost every night, someone was coming and going from the room on the floor above us. Perhaps it was the same guests; I don’t know.
The view from our allocated room was simply amazing. The town centre was fairly close. We had an en suite room with sufficient tea/coffee making facilities and a TV. Bed was comfy and room was clean.
Alcoholic beverages were available at a reasonable price. A spar shop on the corner 40 m away.
Finding a local cafe serving a traditional english breakfast was hard to find as most establishments only served healthy options. Not my cup of cappuccino but no fault of the longbeach.
Loved the location and the easygoing nature of the place, Andrew was a very attentive host and I could see why people return. I had my own private room and it well exceeded my expectations - it had everything I could want plus an incredible view.

Very hot, but did stay during heatwave so to be expected.
Andrew the host is one of the nicest men I've ever met. Very Welcoming and he made our stay extra special. Location is fantastic, great views. (Cheap well stocked bar😉) He let us have a small family BBQ one night. I honestly can't fault this place.

Andrew was really kind and friendly. The room it self was clean and very comfortable. The toilet and shower also very clean with toilet papers. The place location was awesome as well.
I wish they would have more options for rooms however if was perfect for my stay.
