Room very spacious and comfortable
Breakfast was served in the sister hotel and we were given incorrect information about breakfast times. We turned up 5 mins after breakfast had finished and we were offered what was left, which had clearly been left there for a considerable period of time.
The bed looked clean and comfortable.
The room was right at the very top of the building,it was stifling hot windows wide open and looked out over the outside drinking area,so very noisy and the place was open until 1am ! We actually gave it up and drove home.That was a waste of £100 !!!

Location & the rooms was nice
Located right in the centre of Northallerton, friendly staff and well stocked bar. over all it was also very quiet. The room was very large and the bed was exceptionally comfortable

The room facing the High Street was somewhat noisy at times.
Great location and nice room, good value.
Breakfast, if you wanted it, is in the main hotel - The Golden Lion. Unfortunately the hotel doors were locked and I had to knock on the window to be let in. It was gloomy inside and really not worth the bother with plenty of alternatives on the High Street.
My room was on the High Street and could be quite noisy during the night - they do provide ear plugs!
Clean and convenient
People walking around on the floor above our room was very noisy. You could hear every footstep
Convienence of facilities on site ie: Parking, Location, Bar, Food.
We were allocated Room 11, should have forseen problem with noise as Hotel supplied ear plugs.
Room 11 above Bar which with music stayed open till early hours, Room also adjacent to alley where many loud and disruptive persons passing. Did not get alot of sleep as stayed over the weekend.
Lovely hotel with large rooms and very clean. Ideal central location close to restaurants and pubs
We liked the room. It was good value for money,it was clean and warm. Had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, maybe a little soft but that is just a personal preference. We had a meal of calamari and small fish and chips, was absolutely great value for money, well cooked and I mean it was well executed. And the mushy peas were brilliant.
The shower tray needs unblocking, it drains very slowly. I did clean it out a bit but needs looking at.
