Just an excellent place to pitch up, and with a bar downstairs that was serving food was perfect. Ideally li ated in morthallertons high street, staff were friendly and it was a very relaxing place too. Room was perfect, and so comfortable.

Pros:

Thanks to Lauren, when we checked in computer system had failed she went above and beyond to accommodate our room request. Also rest of staff who made our stay enjoyable. We will return soon

Cons:

The rooms face out onto a main street. There are deliveries made during the night to businesses and you can hear everything. They provide earplugs in the room, but you can hear & feel everything.

Clean comfortable rooms

Cons:

Noisy people in the two rooms above us until 3am, drinking laughing and slamming doors then people leaving for work slamming doors at 6.20am unfortunately myself and 3 children had little sleep.
Long drive home to Scotland this morning.
Had there been a 24hr reception possibly they could have been spoken to.

Clean . Great location . Comfy bed. Large room.

Cons:

Too hot. Winter weight duvet on the bed, too much traffic noise from the high Street to sleep with the window open. The fan in the room did help. There was someone in the room above who never stopped walking on the creaky floorboards between 8 and 11pm. . So noisy. Worst nights sleep I've had for ages, and I stay away a lot with work.
