Comfortable room and friendly staff and a great country bar and good breakfast .
Pros:

Rustic village inn with friendly staff in a nice village and very good value

Cons:

There was nothing I would complain about . It’s not the Ritz but for what you get for the price it’s amazing

Great. Just the job whilst cycle touring.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. Room was cute although a little 'tired'. Linen and towels clean. Staff super helpful in terms of making room in their bin storage to store our bikes. Evening meal good. Lots of plug sockets in room.

Cons:

Breakfast service was VERY slow. They seemed to be very short-staffed with just one person taking orders and waiting on tables. He seemed a bit harassed! Coffee machine wasn't working so we had to wait for it to be made with quite a delay before getting a morning drink. One plug socket (kettle socket) not working but plenty of others so could still use it.

Hotel on the high street
Pros:

Breakfast and dinner was very good and the room was neat and tidy. The staff were very helpful.

Cons:

I stayed in the room with the single bed. I felt the mattress was too soft and springy and not comfortable to sleep on. I was there for 2 nights. I had to sleep with the window open, as it was very muggy weather and warm. I felt a fan in the room would have been good, as I was there on a Saturday and Sunday night and people were making a noise right outside my window and I couldn't shut it, because it was too warm in the room. That was the only fault I had, otherwise it is a very nice hotel.

Pros:

The staff weee lovely, they stayed up late to make sure I arrived safely which was above and beyond. A lovely local pub. Would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the George. The staff were really friendly and the food was outstanding!

The property is very central in a lovely town. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is excellent! Room was clean and comfortable.

Good stay
Pros:

Really good location, friendly staff and comfy bed.

Cons:

A little expensive for what you get, and especially as the you can hear anything happening in the streets or in the corridor. Would recommend earplugs if you’re a lightsleeper.
