Lovely hotel, room not the best.
Pros:

Lovely hotel overall with very nice, helpful staff.

Cons:

Our room overlooked a rear carpark/ delivery area which was noisy early in the morning. The room was a little dark and we were grateful it was only for one night.

Very comfortable clean bed!! Cooked Breakfast
was excellent.

Cons:

The 1970s fitting and the dirt !! The bathroom needed a serious deep clean. The 70s style hairdryer ( obsolete for years) was filthy and held together with electric tape. The shower and bath mat need a deep clean and replacing!
Very difficult to read in the room as I required for work. The room had 3 vintage plastic shade lamps with soft tone bulbs. The lamp smelled of burning when on as the shade had not be cleaned for quite some time. This was obviously a family room but there was a fine shard of glass missing from the top of the locker!

Relaxing break with great food and drinks
Pros:

Property was just a 10 minute walk from the town which meant you were away from the hustle and bustle when you wanted to relax but near enough when you wanted to have a great choice of pubs and restaurants . Staff in hotel so friendly and welcoming and food is amazing

Cons:

Breakfast room could do with updating it was a bit tired looking
