Ok for the price, could be better.
Pros:

The location is nice, a little bit away from Karuizawa but not too far away, and hence the price is more affordable. There is a big supermarket within 5 mins drive. Free parking and with a nice bakery just over the road.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is ok, would be better if there are more choices of food. At the time when I and my family was having breakfast, an old man collapsed suddenly, the staff are responsive to call medical emergency but they seemed to lack the training of first aid in such emergency situations. The breakfast time was affected by the unexpected event and the staff apologised for the inconvenience to all tables one by one.

Cons:

The breakfast tastes good but limited of choice. The bed isn’t that comfortable. The public bath is small, could be a bit crowded in the morning and late at night, and it lacks ventilation.
