Cons:

I had checked in, and the hotel is not as advertised. Access to things such as the pool are not even in the hotel and are in another street linked to the hotel. The imagery was deceiving as the room looked somewhat different from that which was advertised. However the main reason for the cancellation was that the room had a damp smell laden with a perfume that was burning my chest. The scent was so heavy it was causing breathing issues. I did advise reception at the desk about it and they offered another room, sadly, I explained the strong perfumed smell was present in the whole hotel so I sought alternative accommodation. I explained that I am aware of their policy and told them they are welcome to charge 50% as I did not expect a full refund but surely a 50% refund can be processed as they were given sufficient time for them to rebook a guest considering I only had only booked the day before.
