Friendly local pub B&B with great food, nice rooms and peaceful sea front location
Pros:

Friendly, nice clean and bright rooms, sea views, good en suite and bed, fresh towels etc. Food was great and pub quiz fun.

Cons:

No complaints at all.

Pros:

Excellent location just a few minutes from the ferries. Good dog walks from the hotel. Staff were really lovely and helpful. Very comfortable room with views of the sea. Very good evening meal.

We had a short stay, and wished we could have stayed longer.
Pros:

The Boathouse is an older style hotel which was recently remodeled by the new owners. The staff were great, and the place was very clean. The restaurant was especially nice, we had both breakfast and dinner there and it was outstanding.

Ideal spot for a short stay.
Pros:

Great staff who were friendly and energetic. Food exceeded expectations.

Cons:

The bed was very uncomfortable. My wife suffers with her back and I am a big bloke so mattresses count for a lot for us.

The place was clean, pleasant, maybe a little run down but I enjoyed my stay.

The convenience for catching the ferry the next day.

Cons:

I thought the steak that I ordered was a bit more expensive than its quality required. Steak, Salad and Chips £30.
Not much pressure in the shower.

Pros:

Great location. Close to the ferry terminal for my early morning departure. Evening meal was nice.

Cons:

The soap dispenser in the shower was either empty or broken. Room 23. Hence a shower in just hot water! Needed to be at the ferry terminal for 06:30 so no one around to speak to. Very frustrating.

Pros:

Staff were more than pleasant
Cost may of been a little bit high but it was booked on short notice.
An extra cost of £30 for two breakfast ( which were very nice ) could easily been included in the cost we paid .
