Really disappointed to have to pay for parking
Pros:

Great location for our onward trip to Mull

Cons:

We have never been charged for parking and I’m really unhappy to have to pay for parking and it would probably stop us staying here again

A fabulous stay we just wish we had been staying for longer
Pros:

We stayed in studio 1, it had everything we needed a big comfy bed and huge bathroom, the kitchen was really well equipped and the little extras of tea, coffee, milk and sugar meant we could relax as soon as we arrived after a long drive. The heating was easy to use.
The Scot is very well positioned and parking at the rear was easy to access, there was a £10 charge but as we walked around Oban the car parks all seemed to be pay and display and street parking(if you could find a space) was only free from 6pm to 9am, it was actually a small price to pay to be able to park at 3pm when we arrived and not leave until 11am the following day in a safe place.
We didn’t have breakfast as there are plenty of places to eat, but I did go into the bar and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food and it did look and smell delicious.

Cons:

The studio does not have a window it has 2 big skylights but as The Scot sits one street back from the harbour front you wouldn’t really have a view anyway. It definitely wouldn’t put us off from booking again though.

Location was great, the staff was warm and friendly, but bed was a bit uncomfortable for me.
Pros:

It was a very clean room.

Cons:

The bed was extremely firm. If you like a firm bed, it would be great, but I woke up a bit sore as I like a softer mattress.

Great basic overnight stay with a great location.

Pros:

Second time here and it's good they have parking at the back even although its £10 for the day as parking in Oban is awful.Staff nice and place so clean and so near all the shops.Oban is a beautiful town with good mild weather due to the gulf stream passing by it

Mia is a star.
Pros:

The staff welcome was excellent from Mia. Location and parking on site.

Cons:

There is the possibilty of a parking charge for residents which is unnecessary in our opinion. Should Argyll and Bute ever and disgracfully introduce a tourist tax then these charges on top of the accommodation and breakfast charges would influence our decision on visiting.

Good place to stay in Oban
Pros:

Location very central. Parking a bonus.
Accommodation in the studio was comfortable and clean. Facilities were good. Most reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Could do with a bit more storage in bedrooms (drawers) and something to put your stuff on in the bathroom.

Eine schöne Nacht in Oban
Pros:

Sehr moderne Zimmer, mit sehr viel Licht und guter Ausstattung. Außerdem viele Parkplätze im Innenhof. Auch die Lage war optimal, direkt im Zentrum.
