About the best 3* experience I have had to day, anywhere.
Pros:

What a wonderful breakfast! We especially appreciated the wide range of local delicacies, and the freshly squeezed orange juice!
Decent coffee, served in lovely Villeroy & Boch porcelain, with a very nice texture to them.
Staff was supremely friendly and welcoming.
Hotel is located two minutes from Menin Gate on foot (if you walk in our brisk pace) and about the same distance from Grote Markt, which is one of the most charming squares I have been in, this side of the Alps.

Cons:

I like my bed a little softer, but that is of course a matter of taste, and this bed wasn't much harder than any other you will find in another hotel. Lighting was a little dim for me.
Parking was somewhat inconvenient and to the expensive side, especially as we had to leave very early in the morning, so we ended up parking on the street instead - which was very affordable at €2 for 24 hours.
I was for some reason under the impression that parking would be included in the price, but that wasn't the case - this is however probably my fault, and no big deal at any rate.

Perfect, we loved the Albion Hotel.
Pros:

We arrived to a friendly welcome. The lady on reception knew immediately that we required parking for our motorcycle and explained how to access it.
We were given a free upgrade to a room with AC and a discount voucher for local attractions.
The room was spacious and spotless.
Breakfast was excellent with loads of choice.
This is a family run hotel and it shows, the attention to detail, friendliness of everyone we met and pride in the hotel is evident. Superb.

Lovely stay
Pros:

Close to the Menin Gate, bars and restaurants. Walked around till about 10 at night and felt safe. Air con works and bed was wonderful. Bfast was ok, nothing flash but lots to choose from. Reception friendly and spoke English. Parking on site and a lift.

Cons:

Bacon was extremely salty and my hubby could not eat it. Loves his bacon. But that is being picky.

The location, parking and breakfast are excellent. Recommended.
Pros:

Great location and excellent safe and secure parking for motorcycles inside a locked garage. Breakfast is very good. I have stayed at this hotel before in the extension and new rooms which are excellent. This time we were in the older part and the rooms are still good but a little tired but very clean and a good size.

Cons:

Unfortunately there are building works going on next door and the work starts fairly early about 7:30 right outside our window but not the fault of the hotel. I would imagine its quieter on the other side of the hotel.
