Great hotel in a beautiful location.
Pros:

The staff were very helpful on arrival and departure, helping with luggage (our room was at the top in a room with sloping roof, but we did book late.

Great breakfast and food in general was excellent - we had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant on our first night. Great views overlooking the bay.

Parking was fine - plenty of space on the road opposite the Co-op !

Cons:

Nothing really, all was as expected or better.

The room was very warm and had no fan ( or able to access fan) and can’t open window due to midges,stairs were steep and only one handrail at certain points ,bed was quite noisy and when you moved at night it was very annoying ,also the en-suite door handle was very noisy and could do with a spray of wd 40 to stop it making a racket in middle of night when going to bathroom

Very good choice for a short stay on Arran Island.
Pros:

Easy parking right outside, friendly and efficient check-in process, beautiful view across Lamlash Bay, very good dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, pleasant bar.

Cons:

Layout of rooms under the eaves a bit awkward, room furniture and fittings a bit basic and dated.

Overall the staff and service was very good. Breakfast was excellent mostly but yea cold and food tepid one morning.
Pros:

The room at the back of the hotel was quiet and peaceful.

Cons:

There was a banister to one side of the stairs. I fell down two or three stairs at the bottom of them onto a hard surface. None of the staff came to help me or really asked how I was.

The Lamlash Bay hotel was like a home from home.
Pros:

Had a lovely time at the Lamlash Bay hotel. I stayed 8 nights, the meals were excellent and served by friendly team members. I was impressed with the speed of the service and all my meals were delivered hot and freshly cooked with fresh vegetables.

Cons:

One niggle only. The plug in room 5 bathroom did not fit properly so water would drain from the basin before you wanted it too eg when shaving.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Arran
Pros:

Staff were very welcoming and friendly yet still totally professional in their duties. We will be returning.

Cons:

We didn’t like the slanting ceiling in our room as one of us is tall and had to stoop quite a bit. We will just ask for a different room on our next trip.

Peaceful stay,location spot on and would definetly stay at this hotel again.

Location fantastic,service fab to,breakfast was excellent and filling,sausage was very meaty decent sausage.

Cons:

Had our evening meal one night at hotel,wasn't as good as breakfast,slightly dissapointed on quality of our meals.
