The location is great as we were visiting a family member nearby.we stayed last year as well as we really liked the hotel.
Room 4 was lovely with a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities,plenty of sockets for charging.
Shout out to Mo who served us breakfast great fun and served us with a lovely smile. ❤️

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was great. The room clean and comfortable. Location was great for walks in the countryside. The overall feeling was goodheartedness. I would definitely return.
I liked their story of how they have grown their staff and their business. However, the lack of supervision and management points to too rapid growth.
There was an overflowing drain with the water containing white tissue flowing through the car park in front of the entrance to the hotel reception. We had to step over in order to enter, and tried to report it to reception . However as we entered the reception area, the young man begins the counter literally ran out of the room. At least 10 minutes went past until ringing the bell finally alerted someone that there were guests waiting to be checked in.
Despite reporting the drain problem there and then at check in, nothing had been done by the time we checked out after breakfast.
Further, the two ( of 4 of us ) who ordered the eggs Benedict with Hollandaise, had upset stomachs by lunchtime.
Although advertised as having them , the 3 EV chargers were not working, and the staff did not give correct information on where to find alternatives , and did not alert their clients to the fact they were not working before we arrived, and had been out of order for a long time. This seriously impacted our itinerary.
There appeared to be no manager at the hotel.

Good location with ample parking, friendly staff and a good breakfast
Dated furniture, decor and tired carpets. Sheets with blankets that dont get washed between uses went out in the 70s

only slight criticism, and obviously that would not necessarily apply to everyone, is there was no 'juice, that is beans or tomatoes. Though there was a half tomato.
