Comfortable hotel in a great location
Pros:

The hotel was in a lovely quiet area of Edinburgh just down the hill called Middle Meadow walk, away from the old town centre. The room we had was a Queen suite and very spacious. Breakfast was delicious & was buffet style with plenty of choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lift & luggage storage as well.

Our stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Edinburgh was truly enjoyable.
The hotel was very nice and clean, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and very well-designed, offering more than everything we needed. It was fully equipped with useful amenities such as an oven, toaster, microwave, and more, which made our stay incredibly comfortable.
In terms of location, the hotel is not right in the heart of the Royal Mile. However, this actually turned out to be a positive aspect, as it gave us the opportunity to explore different parts of Edinburgh while walking to the hotel.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel

good apart form the drilling noise
Pros:

The room was good it had all we needed, breakfast was good a good selection of items location was good away from the noise of the main area.

Cons:

There was a drilling noise every few minutes at night which disturbed our sleep
