Quite happy with our stay
Pros:

Room was fine and thankfully it had air conditioning as we arrived during the canicule and when we arrived by train in Gare du Nord at 2200 the temperature was 40 degrees.

Het hotel is een typisch Parijs middenklasse hotel. Vriendelijk personeel dat bereid was mijn koffer naar boven te dragen. Redelijk ontbijt (een croissant en een stuk stokbrood). Het hotel ligt op één minuut lopen van metrostation Barbes-Rochechouart wat weer vlak bij het Gare du Nord ligt. En hotel ligt op loopafstand van Montmartre en de Basilique de Sacre Coeur

Hotel heeft geen lift. Had een kamer op de 3e etage Het is een oud hotel en niet goed onderhouden. Wel schone kamer maar de kamervloer liep iets af. Geen al te nette buurt

Es un hotel muy completo, con prácticamente todas las necesidades del viajero cubiertas. Un punto muy positivo es que permiten guardar las maletas tanto antes del check-in como después del check-out, lo que resulta muy cómodo si quieres aprovechar el último día sin cargar con el equipaje.

Las habitaciones están bien equipadas, son cómodas y cuentan con todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. Además, el desayuno es excelente, con buena variedad y productos de calidad.

Como aspecto a tener en cuenta, el hotel solo dispone de escaleras, por lo que no es una opción recomendable para personas con movilidad reducida o que viajen con equipaje muy pesado.

Cons:

Lo peor, sin duda, es la ubicación. Aunque el hotel en sí está bien, la zona donde se encuentra tiene una gran presencia de personas sin hogar y, especialmente por la noche, puede transmitir una sensación de inseguridad. Si viajas sola, es posible que el trayecto de vuelta al hotel resulte incómodo o incluso dé algo de miedo.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was well connected to public transport, making it easy to reach the main tourist attractions. The room was cleaned properly and had everything needed for a short stay.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the area around the hotel felt very unsafe, especially at night. Walking through the neighbourhood was uncomfortable and we never felt secure. Although the hotel is close to the metro, the station and the surrounding area also felt quite unsafe, with some people behaving in a way that made us feel uneasy.

The hotel staff were not particularly friendly, and they did not inform us in advance about the security deposit. The money was simply charged without any explanation. We understand that it is refunded if nothing is damaged, but guests should be clearly informed before the payment is taken.

Another inconvenience was that there is no lift. The only access to the rooms is via narrow spiral stairs, which can be quite uncomfortable, especially when carrying luggage.

Bon séjour
Pros:

L'emplacement et ma décoration assez sympa. Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur je pense. Ça allait car je n'avais qu'un sac à dos et c'était pour une nuit. La propreté des lieux.

Cons:

Le check-in était à 14, je suis arrivée 1h avant pour m'enregistrer afin de gagner du temps pour 14h. Malgré cela, j'ai dû attendre 30 mn de plus car ma chambre n'était pas prête encore.
C'est le seul point négatif.
La chambre est défraîchi un peu mais j'ai compris qu'une partie du bâtiment est en rénovation.
