everything was more than perfect, the hotel, the food was delicious, the beaches even if small, the staff was always friendly and nice, Gustavo went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. I especially enjoyed the filtered water station in every floor, the gardens outside near the swimming pool to chill and the quality of the buffet.

We recently stayed at Iberostar Selection Santa Eulalia for the second time. Our first visit was two years ago for our honeymoon, and we were so impressed that we decided to return.

On both occasions, we booked a Star Prestige Deluxe Double Room, mainly for the exclusive access to the rooftop pool. This remains the highlight of the hotel for us. The rooftop area is peaceful, much less crowded than the main pool, and it’s a great bonus being able to help yourself to branded spirits, soft drinks, coffees, and other refreshments throughout the day. It’s a fantastic concept and one of the main reasons we would consider returning.

Unfortunately, we did notice a decline in some areas compared to our previous stay. The snacks served in the Star Prestige (10:00–12:00 and 16:00–18:00) used to offer much more variety. This time, the selection was very limited, with the same snacks served every morning and afternoon throughout our stay.

The quality of the evening buffet in the main restaurant also wasn’t as good as we remembered. As a result, we only had dinner at the hotel twice and chose to eat out on the other five evenings.

Breakfast was another disappointment. While the fresh coffee served at the table was excellent, the overall experience could be improved. It felt uncomfortable asking for more than one fried egg, as the chef seemed reluctant to serve additional portions. Considering breakfast is included, guests shouldn’t feel like they’re asking for a favour when requesting more food.

We also felt the breakfast selection could cater better to healthier options. There was a wide variety of sweet cereals, but plain oats were only available on two mornings. It would be great to see a better selection of seeds, fruit purées to accompany oats, and proper Greek yogurt, as the plain yogurt available was very runny. In the end, my husband and I had the same breakfast every morning, fried eggs and fruits.

The room was another area where we were slightly disappointed. We had booked a Star Prestige Deluxe Double Room but were allocated an accessible room. While it was spacious, it wasn’t what we had booked. It had all the wheelchair accessible facilities, however the bathroom had only one sink and no cupboards under the sink and not two sinks with the nice cupboards underneath as experienced two years ago. We did not feel this bathroom was up to standard. The air conditioning was also disappointing, as it couldn’t be set below 18°C, and even on the highest fan setting, it wasn’t powerful enough to keep the room cool at night. Everyone has different comfort preferences, so fixed temperature limits aren’t ideal.

When reception called on our first day to check whether everything was satisfactory, we mentioned that we hadn’t booked an accessible room. Unfortunately, we don’t think our concern was fully understood due to a language barrier. We could have raised it again in person, but we’re not people who enjoy confrontation, and since we only used the room for sleeping, we decided it wasn’t worth the disruption of changing rooms.

Overall, Iberostar Selection Santa Eulalia is still a good hotel. It’s clean, well maintained, and the staff are friendly. However, compared to our stay two years ago, we felt the quality of the food and some aspects of the overall experience have declined. We would still consider returning, but primarily because of the excellent Star Prestige experience and the exclusive rooftop pool, which remains the standout feature of the hotel.

Fast and friendly check in. Nice and chilled hotel. Location is Perfect for exploring what Ibiza has to offer. Rooms are a little small but how much time do you spend in your room on holiday ?? Cold filtered water on every floor is a bonus. Great choice of food and drink. Staff were excellent from booking taxis to making sure your stay is enjoyable as possible. The hotel is spotless and the maids do a fantastic job. We fell in love with this gem of a hotel and have already booked again for next year.

Piscine top. Petite plage proche et agréable. activités hôtel sympa (yoga, soirée), climatisation silencieuse top, vue sur la mer, espace chill sous les arbres, buffet bon niveau, service sympathique et investi envers les clients. insonorisation chambre. la possibilité, si en demie pension, de basculer entre le repas du soir sur le repas du midi.

Posizione accoglienza pineta rilassante e cibo di qualità . Animazione discreta che si occupa di risveglio muscolare e acquagym e serate musicali in terrazza. Nell'oltre ci sono due piscine quella in terrazza in alto perché ha la camera Prestige, quella piano terra accanto alla pineta per tutti gli altri ospiti. Entrambe molto belle . Bar in piscina fornito con i ragazzi che girano e chiedono di cosa. Hai bisogno anche sotto la pineta e ti servono con gentilezza e sorrisi. Colazione abbondante varia e di qualità. Idem per la cena poiché noi avevamo la mezza pensione.

Great hotel. We had a suite it was more than spacious. Breakfast was amazing.
Likes: room, breakfast, staff, plenty of sunbeds.
Dislikes: bars close too early.

Lovely hotel with great facilities.
We stayed bed and breakfast as we like to explore and eat out. Could not fault breakfast options.
Rooms are fairly small, but well maintained, so no complaints.
Clean, modern hotel, with nice restaurant and bars.
Small gym, ok for basic exercises.
Quiet hotel location, no loud bars or clubs nearby.
Location - Santa eulalia main centre can be accessed by foot - 45 min coastal walk, narrow path on sections. Taxi - 10 mins - 10 euros. Bus from end of road - 10 mins - euros per person. Lovely marina with super yachts, promenade with lovely bars and restaurants. Main town has plenty of shops.
Hippy market - 45 min coastal walk, or 20 min walk down main road.
2 areas with sun loungers, one around pool, one just next to it.
Beaches are only 5 min coastal walk.
The beach also has boat trips to ibiza town, santa eulalia, and other beaches.
Overall cant fault it for a romantic break, and would visit again.
