Location - close to Barbican Theatre
Extremely comfortable hotel, staff were wonderful, very quiet, slept great. Our room was way bigger than any other London hotel we'd ever stayed in. Literally nothing could have been better.
Everything was wonderful.
The breakfast was amazing, 10/10, would come back just for the breakfast. The restaurant was also nice in general with good lighting and furnishing etc. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The windows didn't close, because the sliders (sliding windows) were not installed correctly, which led to noise coming in to the room. You could see that they should have been installed 180 degrees the other way.
Also wall-to-wall carpeting is always wrong, it should be abolished globally.

I stayed at Marrables Hotel because I was overnighting in London for work, but I was originally planning to have my wife join me for a fun night in London.
I'm very glad her plans changed, because notwithstanding a fee of around £350 without breakfast, the room was VERY functional, and unfortunately pretty tired - it just wasn't up to my "glam" expectations from the photos and price positioning. I would actually prefer a night in a Z-hotel, which although very tiny are bright and very well cared-for. My room at Marrables had very dim lighting indeed, which made me feel like I'd been transported back to the 1950s - but not in a good way!
To end on a positive note, the Pret beside Farringdon station opens at 05:00 on weekdays, so you can get out, eat and be off to your early appointments pretty easily from here.

Gute Lage, Personal war überwiegend freundlich, die Betten bequem, Fenster war zu öffnen
Die Dachglasfenster im Atrium waren defekt. Einige Fenster versuchten sich alle 20 Sekunden zu öffnen oder zu schließen und schienen zu klemmen. So ging das 24 h/ Tag. Wir haben es angesprochen, das Personal war freundlich, konnte aber nichts machen (war Wochenende). Wir mussten umziehen, weil es nachts total störend war. Haben noch eine Flasche Wein bekommen. In dem neuen Zimmer haben die Leitungen im Bad die ganze Zeit irgendwelche Geräusche gemacht. Hat man einmal gespült hat es ewig gedauert, bis man wieder spülen konnte. Das war nicht besonders angenehm, wenn man zu zweit in einem Zimmer wohnt.
Deep pile bedroom carpet was so nice underfoot after a footslogging day. Breakfast was very good, although had we not been on the inclusive menu, the prices were high.
Minor things: the shutters didn't quite close on one if the windows & the shower temperature controller was stuck at too high a temperature. As we only stayed one night we couldn't report whether they were repaired. The music was too loud at breakfast.
