We had lovely time and the staff were amazing :)
Pros:

The breakfast was pretty good, but my husabnd is gluten free and there was no gluten free bread. This is available in Ashkaga, as we found a gluten-free bread shop which was very good. So my husband could just eat the scrambled eggs and yoghurt. He could not ear much of the Japaneese food as it contained wheat (noodles) or he was very unfamiliar with he Japaneese breakfoast food.

The coffee was excellent. :)

Pros:

Located near cultural sites, easy access to station and on site car parking.

Rooms and facilities were new, clean and simple. Nice touch on arrival giving tokens for vending machine because we declined room cleaning (environmental friendly, saved hotel money), as well as some non alcoholic beer samples.

Room was small, but bed comfortable, room was very clean without dust or hair.

Cons:

Breakfast finishes at 9am.
