La chambre est un peu veillotte, la déco date un peu,... voir beaucoup. Climatisation bruyante, nécessite des boules quiès,
"Rideaux qui font la gueule" laissant passer de la lumière... c'était pas la meilleure des chambres. Mais le personnel était adorable et très pro, et l'hôtel accolé à la gare. Plus ça va, plus je suis déçu par les hôtels Mercure... et par Accor en général.
Je connais des IBIS Styles plus accueillant coté déco et confort. Jeté ces clim poussives et archaïques. Cela fait le troisième mercure en deux mois qui me déçoit.
Perfectly located beside the train station - a bit of a walk into the old part of Lyon but not too far and there were buses in too.

Good location. Not right in the centre but accessible.
Parking instructions were confusing and as a result we paid a LOT for parking. We arrived in the dark and parked in what turned out to be the station car park. It had (almost) the same name as the one indicated on the listing on Booking.com and was directly next to the hotel. The entrance to the ‘correct’ one involved driving across a pavement which was very difficult to see in the dark. Only saw this the next morning. This added significantly to the cost of our overnight stay. There was no coffee machine in the room as listed, only sachets of instant coffee.
Also worth noting that the Ibis styles and Ibis are hosted in the same building if you are seeking a more budget option.

We hang the notice info in the front door to clean the room but the housekeeping never clean the room and was inform to us that they miss it
