Pros:

The hotel is in a Great location. It’s right across the street from the beach. Everything is in walking distance. (Shops, restaurants, beach, etc. ) friendly staff, great restaurant at hotel. We stayed in a room not overlooking the ocean. The room was spacious with a sitting area and bathroom. Very clean hotel.

Ein Genuss am Traumstrand von San Sebastian.
Pros:

Hervorragende Lage, besser geht‘s nicht! Portier, Rezeption, Bedienung im neuen Bistro, Empfang beim Frühstück: Alle waren freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet. Der im letzten Jahr erfolgte Umbau von Bar und Restaurant ist ein Gewinn für das Hotel.

Cons:

Bei Buchung wäre ein Anfahrtsplan für PKW nicht verkehrt!

Very expensive, service does not match the price.

Excellent location and Welcome. Room nice and facilities generally good.

Cons:

Extremely expensive! Also had to ask every day for 2 face cloths (one each) and 2 coffee sachets. At the price you expect much better service than that. Dual sinks with plugs specifically designed to drain continuously, which is really annoying for a wet shaver such as myself. Had to fashion a makeshift plug using an inverted tumbler.

What a view and wonderful location
Pros:

The balcony was to die for a complete view of the bay and old town

Cons:

the couch was useless as it was not comfortable to sit on. My wife noticed spots on the carpet

Definitely THE place to stay in San Sebastian.
Pros:

We first stayed here 40 years ago when it was a case of faded elegance. It has subsequently been very tastefully restored and is a delightful hotel. Beautiful architecture and a very comfortable place to stay. The staff are excellent. We stupidly left our passports in the room safe. The hotel arranged for them to be couriered on to our next destination and this avoided disrupting our holiday. This definitely the place to stay in San Sebatian.
