Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir la suite sur le fleuve, emplacement exceptionnel, avec dégagement et espace privé, nos enfants ont eu la suite attenante toute aussi somptueuse.

Cons:

l'accès immédiat et l'accueil qui n'est pas bien identifié, mais comme c'est un hotel confidentiel faisant parti de la propriété d'un membre de la famille royale, c'est compréhensible

Grüne Oase im Zentrum von Bangkok
Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal. Es hat nur sehr wenige Zimmer, aber wunderschöne Zimmer mit sehr viel Charme. Das ganze in einem wunderschöner grünen Garten und das leckeres Frühstück direkt am Fluss. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

A tranquil stay in a busy city.
Pros:

The Manager and staff were welcoming, thoughtful and exceptionally kind. My partner was injured and unwell and the Manager and staff were very kind and helpful. The gardens are beautiful and the river views are wonderful.

Perfection on every level.
Pros:

This is an extraordinary place! Here you will find superb service, serene atmosphere, beautiful lush gardens enclosing a large pool I swam in often in blissful quiet, a Chinese Villa of exquisite decor / comfort / privacy, a striking river view of Wat Arun just slightly to the north and another lovely temple directly across, and located ideally for what I wanted in Bangkok. The breakfast is exceptional. I stayed here alone and though I don't normally have breakfast, it was simply magnificent! I looked forward to breakfast each of the 3 mornings seated at my beautifully appointed private table for one facing Wat Arun each morning and dining on customized breakfast food options. Do not miss the Thai rice breakfast soup. I wish I could have it every day onboard the ship which is my permanent home. Perfect cappuccino. Perfect fruit plate served like art. Mochi and Ohm were exceptionally gracious and helpful in every possible way. Chakrabongse Villas is an oasis in the enormous city of Bangkok. For my first visit to Bangkok, I chose wisely. This is the only place I ever want to stay when I return. It is spectacular.

Cons:

It is marketed and priced as a 5 star hotel but it is far from 5-star hotel level. (1) Housekeeping wasn't done thoroughly. (2) hotel was very old and the sound isolation was poor. We constantly heard people coughing, sweeping the garden, and talking outside of the room, not to mention the noise from the river. (3) Staff was constantly on their cellphone. We went down for breakfast and waited more than half an hour, and there was no service. There were two staff nearby but they were on their phone instead of trying to help hotel guests. (4) I ordered beer by the pool. The beer was warm, not even chilled.

Generally, i think it is completely overpriced. A 3 star inn disguised in a 5 star rating.

A delightful stay which felt like you stepped into another world from a busy Bangkok!
Pros:

It felt like a hidden gem in the heart of Bangkok! The staff were really welcoming and helped us a lot. It was really quiet majority of the time we were there. The bed was comfortable and the room was cute and cozy.

Cons:

Since it is a small hotel they do not really have a lobby. Which is fine but the library which was used as a meeting room probably needs some refurbishment. The AC wasn’t working very well and it didn’t keep up with appearances with the rest of the hotel. Same with the restaurant toilets, they need to be renovated as well.

Pros:

Cet hôtel est très bien situé proche des lieux culturels et au bord du fleuve. Il a énormément de cachet et de charme. La piscine est très bien. Les chambres sont grandes et bien équipée. Le personnel est très attentionné et le petit-déjeuner en face du fleuve exquis.
